Microlearning has evolved with AI. Are you still using the old playbook? 🤔 Old Way: ◾ Static content, delivered as-is. ◾ Focusing on one-size-fits-all content delivery. ◾ Limited interactivity, mostly passive consumption. ◾ Evaluations focus on completion rates, not impact. New Way: ◾ Bite-sized, AI-personalized modules tailored to learner needs. ◾ Clear, focused content aligned with business outcomes. ◾ Immersive experiences using gamification and analytics. ◾ Continuous feedback for iterative improvement. The future of corporate training isn’t in lengthy, disengaging courses. It’s in agile, impactful, learner-centric microlearning. It’s time to evolve our training strategy. Which approach resonates with your team’s goals? Let’s discuss in the comments. #elearning #learningdesign #LearningAndDevelopment #aitraining #ailearning #Elearning #InstructionalDesign #transitioningteachers

Olga Filipova, CEO of Workademy, recently joined Elai.io EdTalks hosted by Inna Horvath 🇺🇦, a renowned podcast exploring the latest trends and innovations in education and L&D. The engaging discussion covered maximizing LMS performance, analyzing SCORM's pros and cons from L&D and software engineering perspectives, and exploring emerging trends like VR/AR, adaptive algorithms, and AI-driven personalized learning. Here are the key insights Olga shared during this insightful conversation: 👉 Learning Management Systems are undergoing a transformative shift from mere content creation tools to curation and moderation platforms. Many modern LMSs now have built-in authoring capabilities, reducing the reliance on separate authoring tools like Articulate. 👉 SCORM, the decades-old standard for packaging online courses, faces major compatibility challenges. While no perfect alternative exists yet, the vision is to transition to lightweight formats like JSON, enabling seamless exchange of content and analytics across different LMS platforms. 👉 Technologies like VR/AR offer immense potential for creating immersive learning experiences. However, their widespread enterprise adoption remains cost-prohibitive for now. Generative AI could be a game-changer by automating the creation of VR contexts and learning content itself. 👉 As AI takes over more content generation tasks, L&D roles will evolve from creators to curators, quality controllers, instructional designers, and strategic business partners. The focus will shift towards delivering personalized, adaptive learning aligned with organizational goals.
