🎁 Just in time for Christmas, EDM has completed the second round of donations to Heartbeat of Miami through our Nurturing Hope initiative!
We are honored to continue supporting their incredible work by providing another six-month supply of Krystal ultrasound gel and ERI Inc. thermal paper.
This marks the second of three planned donations, as EDM has pledged to provide Heartbeat of Miami with 18 months’ worth of these essential ultrasound resources.
💙 This holiday season, we celebrate the life-giving work of Heartbeat of Miami, a beacon of hope for under-resourced mothers facing uncertainty and crisis. Their clinics go beyond healthcare—they provide compassion and support to women in need at no cost.

🚨 Breaking Down Barriers for Young Learners 🚨
When I first started working in museums, my #1 goal was simple: Increase access for children. I wanted to create opportunities for children to experience the magic of museums early on—because I believe the love of learning starts young.
Fast forward to today, and I’m thrilled to be part of an organization that takes this mission to heart. We provide over 100,000 children and families access to our museum each year, with 25% of our audience coming in for FREE or at heavily reduced admission.
This means over 100,000 visitors in our downtown St. Paul location don’t have to worry about the cost of admission when they explore, discover, and learn through play. 🙌
💡 Why is this so important?
Play is one of the most powerful tools for children’s development. It sparks curiosity, encourages problem-solving, and fosters creativity. Every exhibit, every interactive experience, is a chance for a child to explore the world in a way that’s meaningful to them—and that shapes their future.
When we remove barriers to entry, we’re not just offering a fun day out. We’re planting seeds that will grow into a lifelong love of learning. 🌱
But we can’t do it alone. We need your support to continue providing access and inspiration to our next generation of thinkers, creators, and changemakers.
If you believe in the power of play and learning, consider donating to help us keep our doors open to ALL families, regardless of income. Let’s make sure every child, no matter where they come from, has the chance to learn, grow, and play in a museum. ✨

Through play, children develop important skills they need to thrive at home, school and everywhere else. Minnesota Children’s Museum offers a space dedicated to play. A place where kids lead the way and dream up their own adventures. A place where families experience belonging and joy when playing together.

New short video from JSR – This study on blood donation services has uncovered a novel strategy to enhance donor relationships and increase donor retention. By providing feedback to donors about the use of their past donations, the study found a significant improvement in the quality of the relationship with the blood donation service, leading to increased redonations. Learn more about this research and its impact on donor retention here and the video here (produced by Khalid Mehmood, Ghent U).

We’re out & about today, speaking with Roadchef colleagues up and down the UK about the importance of learning CPR.
There are more than 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests each year in the UK, and they can happen anywhere, at any time. Shockingly, the survival rate is less than 1 in 10 – but early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival.
We’re asking Roadchef colleagues to vote for BHF to be their next charity partner!
In partnership, we will help save lives today, by training Roadchef colleagues in CPR and turning service stations into lifesaving hubs. And together, we’ll help save lives tomorrow by funding the next groundbreaking scientific breakthroughs, helping to keep families together for longer.
Roadchef, your vote can help save lives.
