Sondrel (Holdings) PLC (JPJ: SND), today announces it's shares have been admitted to trade on JP Jenkins.   Sondrel is a UK-based fabless semiconductor company specialising in high end, complex digital Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) and System on Chips (SOCs). It provides a full turnkey service in the design, prototyping, testing, packaging and production of ASICs and SoCs. Shareholders wishing to trade these securities can do so through their stockbroker. Trades will be conducted at a level that JP Jenkins is able to match a willing seller and a willing buyer. Trades can be conducted, and limits can be accepted, during normal business hours. Pitt Street Research publishes its latest update on Weebit Nano Ltd which in FY24 has reported A$1m in revenues from license deals. These occurred as the company hit technology transfer milestones with commercial partners SkyWater and DB HiTek. The company has also reported holding $62.8m in cash, providing it with more than 2 years of financial runway at current cash burn rates. CEO Coby Hanoch has also indicated that the company hopes to sign more commercial deals in calendar year 2024, i.e. within the next 4 months. The company is currently in discussions with more than a dozen IDM’s, foundries and product companies, and management expects 1 or 2 of those deals to come through soon. Of course, the timing of when new deals come through is near-impossible to predict, but we believe investors need to focus on the breadth of conversations Weebit Nano is currently having with prospects across the semiconductor spectrum. We reiterate our valuation of Weebit Nano of A$9.56 per share outlined in our June 2023 report. Sondrel secures major funding today Reading UK – 14 June 2024. Sondrel (AIM: SND), a leading provider of ultra-complex chips for leading global technology brands, has announced a major investment of £5.6 million by ROX Equity Partners Limited, a UK-based private equity investment holding company, through subscription for new shares. Due to the strategic importance of Sondrel in the UK’s semiconductor industry, the Secretary of State’s approval was required.   David Mitchard, Sondrel’s interim CEO, said, “We are delighted with this major funding as it will enable Sondrel to grow and expand its presence as one of the world’s leading providers of custom chip design and supply.
