The hunger to use AI is palpable amongst many early talent apprentices I meet in coaching sessions and workshops. And they're uniquely positioned to drive generative AI adoption too. 74% of UK 16-24-year-olds already use GenAI tools, which means they can bring immediate, practical experience, drive, and hunger to learn. In contrast, university students will only start contributing in three years. By then, the AI landscape will have evolved significantly. “The younger generation, born and raised with AI, isn’t just adapting to it—they’re shaping the future.” - Fusemachines Insights. Are you breathing? Congratulations, you're overqualified! In today's job market, companies are definitely hiring... if by "hiring" you mean desperately seeking unicorns who'll work for peanuts and sacrifice their firstborn for a chance at a cubicle. Entry-level positions now require 10 years of experience, three Ph.D.s, and the ability to time travel. Meanwhile, AI is eyeing your job like a vulture circles roadkill. But don't worry, there's always an opening for "unpaid intern with CEO potential" – just bring your own laptop, coffee, and soul-crushing despair. So polish that resume, practice your "I'm passionate about [insert company name]" speech, and remember: in this economy, even the Grim Reaper is outsourcing.

"Why should we hire interns when we could just use AI?" If you’ve asked yourself this question recently, you’re not alone. But hiring interns isn’t just about offloading 'busywork' or giving students experience. It unlocks real benefits for your organisation: ✅ Fresh ideas – Interns bring new perspectives, creativity, and enthusiasm to the table. ✅ Diversity and innovation – Engaging young talent means gaining insights from the next generation of thinkers. ✅ Talent pipeline – Nurturing talent early supports your long-term workforce planning. ✅ Leadership development – You'll strengthen your team’s leadership and mentoring skills as they guide and support interns. AI might automate processes, but it can't replace the human touch, creativity, and innovation that interns bring to the table. At BrightSparks, we take care of the hard work—providing you with carefully selected interns who are ready to contribute from day one. 🌟 Ready to grow your talent pipeline and make an impact? Let’s get started: https://lnkd.in/g-ywPagD

Hey LinkedIn Connections, This is my first post, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about my journey with you all! Transitioning from college to the professional world is a big step, but shifting careers entirely adds another layer of excitement and challenge. From being a B.Tech graduate to diving into the world of Revenue Operations as an intern, it's been a drastic yet exhilarating change. I've always believed that the sky is never the limit, and there's no right or wrong path—just the one that makes the most sense as you go along. Taking this step was tough, but it feels more and more right with each passing day. As the saying goes, "One who never fears to step up to take new challenges succeeds in life." I want to thank CustomerLabs ❤️ 1P Data OPs for giving me this incredible opportunity. Working with various departments has been thrilling, and I'm still figuring out what suits me best. Taking this leap wasn't easy, but I believe it's worth it.I don't know exactly where this path will take me, but I'm excited to continue growing and exploring new opportunities. Here's to embracing the unknown and making the most out of every step!!!!! #NewBeginnings #CareerTransition #RevenueOperations #Grateful #ExploringNewOpportunities

𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨: 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 & 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐓 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐖! Honored to speak with a group of GREAT grads from Lighthouse Labs last week. One key thing needed to be addressed (and I suspect it needs to be addressed almost everywhere with entry and junior level talent) Let's go! 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝: Zero to six months' experience? Entry-level is your gateway. Junior-Level, Clarified: Six months to two years' experience? Step up to Junior. The Confusion: Job ads often confuse the two, demanding years for entry-level roles. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Discern the Real Entry-Level: True entry positions require little to no experience. Craft Your Narrative: Even short internships or projects can pitch you for Junior roles. Persistence Pays Off: Every TARGETED application brings you closer to breaking into IT. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Honesty in Job Ads: Clearly state experience expectations. Entry should truly mean entry. Invest in Potential: Embrace training to mold novices into your tech dream team. Realistic Requirements: Align job descriptions with genuine entry and junior standards. 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞: Your Moment is on the Horizon: Keep building your skillset. The tech world awaits you. Embrace Every Learning Chance: Leverage online courses and personal projects. Preparation is Key: When your opportunity arrives, be ready to shine. Remember: Greatness starts with humble beginnings. Keep pushing your limits, and the tech industry will open its doors to you. Here to help. Just reach out to connect and chat.
