When Avani joined us, her exposure to product design was limited. She had worked extensively in media and comms, but not yet in interface design. In the last year and a half, she has embedded herself horizontally across multiple product teams at Canvs and Cassini leading charge of motion and making it a natural part of our design systems and our clients'. Motion is not meant to be an afterthought in user experience, it's meant to be a device and a perspective. Motion is as much utility as it is aesthetics. But to make it a natural extension of your thinking, you must first be hyper-adept at its nuts and bolts, its multipliers and drawbacks. To execute exactly what you plan, you must know your tools like the back of your hand. Very critically, to transfer your knowledge in craft from one industry to another, you first need to be good at craft. Avani explains how. Have a read here: https://lnkd.in/dVbv9Fmx

Being a product designer, We should have a tight grip on the designs (experience) we work on & be fluid enough to welcome feedbacks as well. Feedbacks then can be validated and applied to the design. Coz in the end, a design has to be perceived by everyone in the same way. If not, then it just an art. #productdesign #reality #fluid #feedbacks

Don’t worry—we’re here to introspect and level up your design game! 💡 Top industrial designers emphasize form and material. For familiar products, the form should focus on usability, while the material enhances the experience. Example: CMF Buds Pro 2 features a dial for better usability and a unique soft-touch, sandblasted finish. 🎧 Even big names like Apple can get it wrong! Placing touch sensors on AirPods’ sticks (where users naturally hold them) causes interruptions when adjusting the fit. This is poor interaction design. Great design is intuitive—it shows users what’s possible, what’s happening, and what just occurred. 🔄 “You don’t provide an experience after—it starts with designing versatile, accessible products and environments that focus on quality and enjoyment, leaving a lasting impression.” Time to rethink your design? The choice is yours. 💭 #DesignMatters #FixYourDesign #ProductDesign #UserExperience #IndustrialDesign #CMFBudsPro2 #InteractionDesign #AppleFails #UsabilityFirst #DesignFundamentals

🌈 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟕 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲 - 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🎨 Color is more than just a visual element – it’s an experience. Perception affects color. Our eyes see something, like the sky, and send information about that object's hue to our brains (blue). Various wavelength combinations of light are reflected by various objects. These combinations are detected by our brains, which then convert them into the phenomena known as color. As designers, understanding color theory helps us create emotions, influence decisions, and shape user experiences. From warm to cool colors, how we use them in design can change everything. 🔥❄️ "Color is the place where our brain and the universe meet." – Paul Klee 🌌 What's your go-to color palette for creating an impactful user experience? Send low-fidelity product visuals to stakeholders✨ When high-fidelity product visuals aren't needed, get sign-off and feedback from stakeholders quicker than ever before by sending them low-fidelity versions of your product solutions. Either share the link to your clickable prototype, or export your low-fidelity product visuals via Handoff Mode in a range of formats. In low-fidelity, stakeholders can focus on whether the idea works for the problem that is being solved, without worrying about a pixel-perfect design. Check it out at uizard.io 🎉

Designing a product is an intricate process that transforms an imagination into a tangible reality. It’s a blend of aesthetics, behavior, emotion, and constraints working in unison. Understanding user interactions ensures functionality and intuitive use, while evoking the right emotions creates a meaningful connection with the product. Aesthetics reflect the designer’s creativity, balancing beauty with function. Constraints such as materials and manufacturing limitations guide the practical aspects of the design. This cyclical process of feedback and iteration refines the product, making sure the product meets the user needs as well as the designers vision . . #productdesign #designer #productdesigner
