Until I did my nutrition training I had been classed as overweight pretty much my whole adult life. I’d tried it all and it either didn’t shift the dial on my weight or the weight loss was short lived. During my training to become a nutritionist I was able to get to a healthy BMI and have kept the weight off, ever since, for years. Why? Why was this approach different to what I’d tried before? Firstly, I understood food, not just the value of its calories, but how it affected the biochemistry of my body, my appetite and how it made me feel. Secondly, my motivation had changed, not only did I want to look thinner but I appreciated how much my health could benefit from being a healthy weight, which meant so much more. And lastly, I had lots of different tools to lose weight and keep it off, I didn’t have to follow a rigid programme, I could change what I was doing week by week, day by day to suit how I felt or what was going on in my life. This is the approach I want to share with you! So you have the tools, knowledge and motivation to take charge of your body. The course is an online group programme with 12 x weekly 1 hour sessions every Wednesday at 6.30pm, running from the 17th April til the 3rd July 2024.
