We are grateful and appreciate our Ranchers Farmers and Truckers. They feed America 🇺🇸 Most Americans don’t make decisions based on celebrities and athletes.
Tracey ann Nazarenus: I agree 100%. Also we should add beekeepers, fuel workers (soon, I hope), drillers, skilled tradespeople, who are in high demand. How about teachers, childcare professionals, doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians. Our military, and first responders who are regularly in my prayers. All so much more important in my opinion than Celebrities.
Maybe solve the student loan debt problem by having more people go to trade schools for jobs society really needs, like plumbers, electricians, carpenters, gutter and roof installers, craftsmen, contractors, mechanics, computer repair, HVAC. Much less time in school, lower cost for education, can make good money practically right when they finish their training and certification.

As an entrepreneur seeking, some of the frequent feedback I receive is to tone down my rhetoric on living with PTSD.
I met Darcel A. Rideout some time ago and she encouraged me to turn it up - full send.
Her simple advice to Self and others to: " 'Get out and meet someone, today! is the type of feedback that moves me forward.
Regardless of where it came from, #PTSD left untreated will Grind Your Gears Up.

I was fortunate last summer to meet Al-Nesha Jones, CPA, MBA at Bridging the Gap.
Hear these two friends talk about keeping their Uber driver (and themselves) alive, corporate culture, dancing, diversity, making and fixing mistakes, and ultimately creating the firm you want to own. This episode is a great listen!

Anytime I get to hang out with my good friend, Randy Crabtree, it's a great time. Thank you, Tri-Merit, for giving me an opportunity to share my story. My prayer is that is inspires others (even if it's just 1 person).

This year’s Fat Bear Week 2024 winner has been crowned—and the lesson for product designers couldn’t be clearer. 🏆🐻
As we watch these bears bulk up for winter, we’re reminded that the road to success is about more than speed or flashy progress. It’s about consistent, meaningful effort. The winner of this year’s Fat Bear Week didn’t achieve victory by accident. It was the result of strategic accumulation, the right timing, and thoughtful preparation—just like designing great products.
Building meaningful products isn’t about rushing to market with the flashiest features. It’s about knowing when to fine-tune, when to grow, and when to double down on what matters most to your users. The bear that claimed victory in 2024 didn’t overcomplicate things. It stuck to the essentials, focusing on the slow, steady accumulation of value.
So as we cheer for this year’s well-deserved winner, let’s take a cue from these incredible creatures: build thoughtfully, iterate strategically, and design for long-term success.
Congrats to the 2024 champion! 🏅🐻 Now, back to building products that last.

“A single mom who works two jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle paws and the heart of a fighter
I'm a grrrrvivor!”
Hail to 128 Grazer, Queen of Fat Bear Week! The 2024 champion is the first in tournament history to win while also caring for a cub. Let us raise our paws and honor the royal highness of roundness, the majestic monarch of munching, the snacking sovereign of salmon. 128 “Grazer” is one of the most successful and adaptable bears when it comes to bulking up for winter.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, cast a vote, and celebrated the importance of Katmai’s bears and the rich ecosystem they live in and support. Special shoutout to the “official sponsor” of Fat Bear Week, the sockeye salmon.

Today, we pause to honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Memorial Day is not just a long weekend or a chance to fire up the grill. It’s a solemn reminder of the courage and selflessness displayed by countless individuals who laid down their lives so we can enjoy the liberties we often take for granted. Their bravery is the bedrock of our freedom, and their legacy is a beacon of hope and resilience.
As someone deeply invested in leadership and community development, I find profound lessons in their sacrifice. Here are three key insights that resonate with me:
1️⃣ Courage in the Face of Adversity: True leadership shines brightest in challenging times. The bravery of our fallen heroes teaches us that facing adversity head-on, with unwavering resolve, is the hallmark of a great leader. In our professional lives, let’s channel this courage to tackle obstacles and drive innovation.
2️⃣ Selflessness and Service: The ultimate act of giving is to put others before oneself. This selflessness is a cornerstone of effective leadership and community building. Let’s strive to create environments where we support and uplift each other, fostering a culture of mutual growth and success.
3️⃣ Legacy of Impact: The sacrifices of our heroes remind us that our actions today shape the world of tomorrow. In our careers and personal lives, let’s focus on creating a positive, lasting impact. Whether it’s mentoring a colleague, leading a project, or driving community initiatives, every effort counts.
On this Memorial Day, let’s reflect on these lessons and honor the memory of those who gave all. Take a moment to recognize the contributions of individuals in your network who embody these values. Give them a shoutout, connect them with others, and help amplify their impact.
Let’s make this Memorial Day not just a day of remembrance, but a day of action and appreciation.
If this post resonates with you, please give it a like, leave a comment sharing your thoughts, or repost to spread the message. Together, we can honor the past and inspire the future.
