The flags might’ve disappeared but that doesn’t mean the Pride copy has vanished just yet 🏳️🌈 (Or maybe it’s just us clinging on…) Here’s why I actually really like this copy: 🏳️🌈 It’s relevant to the product and wider business There’s nothing worse than a business trying to shoehorn in an event, holiday, or moment of significance for the sake of it when it doesn’t suit them. Makeup is a pretty big part of Pride celebrations, so it’s not only highly relevant but it’s also done in a way that emphasises the basis of occasion. 🏳️🌈 Direct, clear outlining of partnership and donations Sure, we could split hairs over the amount donated. But it’s plenty more than a lot of other businesses, and they’re actually transparent about it. It’s a clear signpost and it’s a great trust-builder. 🏳️🌈The emotional connection ‘Never your Pride’ is the part I loved the most because, unfortunately, a lot of people still feel compelled to scrub their face clean before they leave a Pride event for fear of backlash. You can remove your makeup, but you don’t have to remove your pride 🙏🏻 All in all, I actually think Garnier smashed it. #ProudOfPrideCopy #MakesAChange

Yes, it’s true - there’s a national day dedicated to underwear! While National Underwear Day was created to celebrate underwear and the freedom of self-expression that comes with wearing it, we are using it as a day to not only celebrate and be grateful for underwear--but also to bring awareness that not everyone has access to it. Our mission is to provide children with access to new underwear for each day of the week. 1 in 3 kids in MA experience clothing insecurity, and underwear insecurity is even worse because you cannot donate used underwear--it needs to be new for hygienic and lawful purposes. Therefore, underwear is one of the most needed but least donated items to shelters and youth-focused organizations. Cocotree Kids was created to fill this need and in just 3 years has distributed over 215,000 pairs of underwear to 30,000 kids across the state! Our goal to celebrate this fun holiday is to raise $5,000, which will provide over 1,400 kids with 10,000 pairs of underwear. Please help us spread the word--and Happy Undies Day! Donate today to help us reach our goal: https://lnkd.in/ehRiKrJs #bostonnonprofit #kidsnonprofit #metrowestnonprofit #makeadifference #bostonma #manonprofit #endclothinginsecurity

"We need something to celebrate 10k followers." - "OK." 💬 And that's how the campaign began. I was handed a task—and given the freedom to make the most of it. For me, this was the key moment. Sure, I could have gone with a video, a raffle, a message from our CEO and CFO, or even some voices from our colleagues. But instead, I decided to aim high. I pitched the idea to use our reach for a good cause and asked for a budget I had never dared to request before. Everything moved quickly—green lights all the way. I had full support, and my team lead and area lead advocated for the campaign from the start. ✨🌟✨ The takeaway? This is where I belong. I love working at XXXLdigital – Part of XXXL Group because it allows me to try something new, big, or bold. Sometimes I get stopped (which I actually appreciate!), sometimes I’m asked to make changes, but most of the time, I get to turn ideas into real projects. #XXXLspirit #XXXLdigital #mindset
What an achievement! For the last 14 days our LinkedIn feeds have been filled with red chairs of all shapes, forms, and sizes... 🪑 We are proud to see our colleagues joining in and very grateful that many of our great partners have participated to raise money for SOS-Kinderdorf Österreich. A huge THANK YOU to our LinkedIn community, colleagues, partners and everyone who supported the campaign. We are truly humbled by your support! When we say #10KforGood, we mean #10kforGood - we decided to match the donations made through the posts to a total of 10.000 €. ✨🌟✨ We are very proud to donate this amount to SOS-Kinderdorf Österreich and support the project “Mädchenwohnen Graz NEU”. This building project will create a safe space for girls who have experienced a serious crisis and are in desperate need of a place where they can feel understood, protected and safe. We are thankful to be able to support this important project. 🙏💛🏡 #10KforGood #XXXLdigitalchairity #XXXLspirit #XXXLdigital Photo credits: Antonia Knall

Today is the 10th Anniversary of We Wear Red Day! We Wear Red Day is an initiative put together by Show Racism the Red Card - the UK's leading anti-racism education charity. They were established in 1996, partly from a donation made by then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop. In the 1990s, Hislop was near St James' Park when he was approached by a group of young people shouting racist abuse. Then they realised who he was... And started asking for autographs instead. Show Racism The Red Card was borne out of Shaka's realisation that he could use his status, recognition, and influence to make a difference for people. Now, SRtRC still works with high-profile footballers, but also with other sports and personalities. They deliver training and educational workshops to more than 50,000 young people and adults each year. How do they ask people to support? By wearing something with red on the 18th of October each year, and if you can, by donating (link in comments 👇) This year, the goal is for 1 million people to wear red - to mirror the 1 million people who have engaged in SRtRC's training programmes. Today, red is more than a fashion statement. It's a reminder that collective actions can change hearts and minds, impacting lives beyond our immediate community. Wearing red for a day is a small thing to do, to keep in mind the importance of advocating for a culture where everyone feels valued and isn't discriminated against. #WeWearRedDay24 #WWRD24 #OneMillion #ShowRacismTheRedCard

Today, on 25th November, we join the global movement in observing the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women—a day that serves as a poignant reminder of the urgency to end violence in all its forms against women and girls. Violence is more than just physical harm; it leaves scars that are emotional, psychological, and societal. Sadly, millions of women around the world still face abuse, discrimination, and fear in spaces that should offer safety—whether at home, in the workplace, or online. This day is not only about raising awareness but also about taking action. By educating, supporting survivors, and challenging harmful norms, we can collectively DRIVE CHANGE. Let’s take a step forward today—for the women who came before us, for the women standing beside us, and for the generations of women to come. SUPPORT us in this SCWO's THREADS of RESILIENCE movement.
Through In Her Stride: Threads of Resilience, NAFA Fashion Design students have transformed pre-loved fabrics donated by the community into powerful, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate resilience, hope, and renewal. Each design tells a story of courage and strength, inspired by survivors of violence. 🪡 By donating, you’re helping to provide essential support—safe shelter, counselling, and resources that empower survivors to rebuild their lives. Contribute to resilience and support survivors as they stride forward toward brighter futures. Every contribution counts. #InHerStride #ThreadsofResilience #SurvivorsofDomesticViolence #Eliminationofviolenceagainstwomenandgirls #InternationalDay

Bristol Law Society members and wider legal sector community, could you help Stand Against Racism & Inequality in their mission to stand against hate? They need your support to double the difference of donations in December. They’re taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge where, for one week, donations they receive are doubled by match funding. To do this, they need pledgers. As a pledger, you promise a certain amount of money that will be used to match donations they receive during the campaign. Your commitment to match other donations acts as an incentive for others to give, knowing their donations will be doubled. In this current climate SARI’s work is sadly very necessary. If they are successful with this campaign, it will make a huge difference to their charity and the people they work with; helping them to support people who have been victims of hate crime, to advocate for justice for them, and to give them a safe space to be heard. SARI have until the 30th of August to raise £1050 in pledges. To find out more click here: https://lnkd.in/e4KKRZ5m To sign up as a pledger, click here: https://lnkd.in/eSnZ-BgJ

🎭 An Unforgettable Night of Art and Laughter 🎶 Earlier this year, I attended an Athena Project fundraising event that still makes me smile. A phenomenal female DJ set the perfect vibe, followed by two high school comedians who had us laughing until our sides hurt. It was pure magic—a celebration of creativity, community, and the transformative power of the arts. But events like this don’t just happen. They’re made possible by the belief that art can change lives—and by people like you who want to be part of something bigger. 🌟 Athena Project: Changing the World Through the Arts Athena Project empowers women and underrepresented genders through the arts, creating paid opportunities while amplifying their voices. Every program uplifts artists and connects their works to audiences eager for change and creativity: 📚 Read & Rant: Bringing new playwrights’ voices to life. 🎨 Curating Art for Impact: Elevating community missions with experiential art. 🗣 Artful Reflections: Creating emotional connections between artists and audiences. ✨ Girls Create: Empowering middle school girls and nonbinary youth to lead through art. 🌟 Why Your Support Matters Athena Project is shaping a more inclusive, equitable future for the arts, one artist at a time. Programs like Girls Create teach young voices the courage to use their skills—creating ripples of impact that extend far beyond the stage. 💡 Every dollar donated ensures these programs thrive. Thanks to the Colorado Gives Foundation, donations made by December 10 go even further. Let’s make sure Girls Create continues inspiring and equipping young artists for years to come. 🔗 Check out the original post below to learn more, and if you feel moved to give, the link is in the comments. 💜 #GivingTuesday #SupportTheArts #WomenInTheArts #AthenaProject #KeepArtsAlive #ColoradoGivesDay #Underrepresented #GenderEquality
