Stand Against Racism & Inequality

Wow. Such a big thank you to the students and their lecturer on the third year criminology course at UWE for gifting us this Tree of Justice and Solidarity. Inspired by their studies on hate crime, they created this in gratitude and recognition for our work supporting people facing hate. Written on the tree are messages of encouragement, hope, and solidarity. It's been a difficult year and solidarity like this really does mean the world to our team. This tree will light up our office, and give us hope and strength when we need it, so thank you.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to remember transgender people who have lost their lives because of other peoples' hatred, prejudice and hostility. As the narrative around trans people grows increasingly hostile, it is up to us to stand against anti-transgender hate.
