Growing up in a household where making ends meet was a constant stressor, Bob Love entered college with one goal: to discover a career that would allow him to support his future family and empower them to pursue their dreams. 🎄 Going the Extra Mile as a Property Manager 🎄 As property managers, we wear many hats—problem solvers, communicators, and facilitators—but sometimes, the most meaningful moments come from simply going above and beyond for the communities we serve. This week, I had the pleasure of volunteering to decorate and set up the Christmas tree at one of my associations. While it may seem like a small gesture, seeing the smiles and hearing the “oohs” and “ahhs” from residents reminded me of the impact we can have beyond day-to-day operations. Creating a welcoming, festive atmosphere isn’t in the job description, but it’s in the spirit of building connections and fostering a sense of home for the people we serve. To my fellow property managers: don’t underestimate the power of these small touches. Whether it’s holiday decorations, organizing community events, or simply lending an ear, these moments remind us why we do what we do. Here’s to a holiday season filled with joy, warmth, and community spirit! 🎁✨ #PropertyManagement #CommunityBuilding #HolidaySeason #GoingAboveAndBeyond

I have lived in California for the 2nd time since 1980 and love California. I was born here and moved across the US in the 70’s. I really loved living in different parts of the country when I was younger. Pennsylvania was so fun to live there and I really loved my years in Palatine, Illinois. But, some of my clients are moving out of the state for several reasons and I understand why. If you know anyone considering a move please let me know how I can assist them. Here are the pros and cons. Please give me your thoughts: Here are the top 5 reasons people are leaving California: 1. High cost of living, especially housing. 50-60% more 2. High taxes (income, sales, and property). 10-15% more 3. Urban congestion and rising homelessness. 4. Wildfire risks and environmental challenges. 5. Job relocation or remote work flexibility. Here are the top 5 reasons people are staying inCalifornia: 1. Mild weather and outdoor lifestyle. 2. Career opportunities in tech, entertainment, and innovation. 3. World-class universities and education. 4. Cultural diversity and progressive values. 5. Access to beaches, mountains, and natural beauty.

Cindi Scafide was first introduced to the independent contractor agent opportunity while working as an agency field specialist for State Farm. "I never thought about becoming an agent until I had the chance to collaborate with current State Farm agents and their teams. They showed me the crucial role they play in their communities and the positive impact they make on the lives of others." Cindi offers her insight to those hesitant in pursuing the agent opportunity. "If you're unsure if this career is right for you, go and visit as many State Farm agents in your area that you can to observe the different ways each office operates – it’s the best way to gain a real sense of this career. If you’re a self-starter and feel comfortable setting your own goals, it's the perfect opportunity for you. "At a stage in life when many are ready to slow down, I am continually seeking ways to improve both personally and in my office. Change is inevitable, and you must be willing to embrace it.” Learn more about becoming a State Farm independent contractor agent: https://lnkd.in/giWjAvk9
