Hear from Arsène Wenger, Johan Djourou, and Arnar Vidarsson in our latest report, Transition from Academy to First Team Football.💡 Without players taking ownership of their own transition, even the best, high-performance supporting environment will fail. At the weekend the 6 Nations concluded with a nail-biting match between France and England. France came out on top, but the real winners were the Lyon crowd, we were great! The atmosphere in and outside the stadium was fantastic. This is a similar model to the NFL playing overseas, playing club rugby away from the regular home ground. Saracens will do this at the weekend at the Tottenham Hotspur FC stadium. Harlequins also do this once or twice a season using Twickenham Stadium. These events produce significant revenue if they can sell out the stadium, but it also gives the fans a new top level experience. I had a conversation not so long ago about Super Rugby doing the same, imagine The Crusaders playing The Waratahs in LONDON! A stadium would sell out easily and the atmosphere would be electric. Which TV station would televise the game globally? The fan experience would be great and new fans would be identified for the teams plus the clubs would get a significant – and much needed – financial boost. Data is the bedrock of confidence in executing such events and Sobirho is at the forefront, leading teams to excel in this endeavour. #6Nations #FrenchRugby #EnglandRugby Sobirho Saracens Group Harlequins Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Crusaders NSW Waratahs #sportsbusiness #nfl #data #ai #insights #sportsanalytics #TheShowdown4

▶ Some worth to mention factors which makes Rodri's goal threat actions easier: 1️⃣ Opponents low block schemes with 9 to 10 players behind the ball and Rodri so that stepping up does not affect Man City's rest defence taking in consideration the Citizens compactness and good counter pressing process. 2️⃣ Rodri's starting point from deeper areas makes him usually marked by one of the opponents' front line players, who also doesn't keep tracking back Rodri while he penetrates and occupies spaces between the lines, i.e between opponent mid and backline players whose attention is paid to the ball or other Man City players.
🔵 Has Rodri unleashed his inner-Lampard instincts? 🔵 Here are his open play goals for Manchester City during the 23-24 Premier League season. 🥅 #Rodri #neoLampardism #evolution Made with the new Play3 by Metrica Sports 🔥

My opinion on two of my favourite teams but for now I will speak only for Manchester United is that obviously they dont play according to their history and prestige. They accept a passive role on the field even with smaller teams, they let the opposite team set the tempo (maybe because they are afraid of the criticism) they play position football covering spaces than going first time on the ball but on the longterm it is harmful because the team is not used in running and the team doesnt have the flow like other Premier League teams. A very big mistake they made in the summer is that the selling of #Scott_Mc_Tominay who in my opinion is a perfect box-to-box player with great Stamina and Positioning and they decided to keep Casemiro when he is not in the age neither has the ability to be be where he neesa to be. The same goes to Manuel Ugarte who has not adapted yet but who unequally good to his defensive game than his attacking. I hope Ruben Amorim choice is not due to the many Portugese players but because he can change the mentality and the choices taken for the squad. United 's Board brings players from very different environments mainly Serie A and Dutch football which is not easy to adjust their playing style. I think Man Utd should focus on British football and especially young players from academy like Garnacho, Mainoo who grew up this way have motive to show themselves and give it all on their Game. Unfortunately Premier League Market is very expensive which explains why big teams prefer to buy players whose market value is more close to their real value. But 2 players I think they can boost Man Utd game are #Jeremie_Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen and #Carlos_Baleba of Brighton. With Amorim's arrival there is probability that Man Utd may move for #Rafael_Leao (who is a very gifted player but not with the charecteristics mentioned above) and #Viktor_Goykeres which is only a matter of time until he gets transferred to a Top Club. Some players that I personally believe dont fit with Man Utd project are Andre Onana, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte, Mason Mount, Antony and Joshua Zirkzee

Congratulations to Real Madrid for yet another UCL trophy! This victory has reignited the debate about the next Ballon d'Or winner. Many Real Madrid fans are advocating for Vinicius Jr., while others believe Jude Bellingham, La Liga's Player of the Season, is a strong contender. It's interesting to see why Jude Bellingham is often considered an obvious candidate while Vinicius Jr. needs more fan support. Statistically, Artem Dovbyk led La Liga with 32 goals and assists (G+A), followed by Bellingham with 25 G+A, and Vinicius Jr. with 20 G+A. Some argue that Bellingham had a brilliant start to the season but a sub-par second half, whereas Vinicius stepped up significantly in the latter stages, especially evident in the UCL knockouts and La Liga as well. Suggesting Jude had a better PR team helping him gain momentum for the POTS award. Jude is heavily advocated for the Ballon d'Or by English media and his own PR team, which has done an excellent job of elevating the 20-year-old to superstar status. This demonstrates the significant impact of social media presence on a player's value. As a fan of Jude Bellingham, I believe he will win a Ballon d'Or sooner or later, but perhaps not this year—unless he helps England win the Euros. What are your thoughts on this year's Ballon d'Or winner? #championsleague #realmadrid #judebellingham #viniciousjr #laliga #football #ucl #ballondor
