Glassdoor is a place where employees go to vent, right? You can’t take it seriously because everyone is just venting there, right? It’s unreliable data, right? Wrong. Employees are more than 3 times as likely to give a positive review on Glassdoor than a negative review. It is a remarkably balanced review platform. Are all of your employees giving negative reviews on Glassdoor? That sounds like a you problem, not a Glassdoor problem.

I had an executive tell me recently "I don't believe in Glassdoor ratings. Everyone knows that only disgruntled employees post there." Here's the reality: - You don't need to believe in Glassdoor ratings - they exist - Savvy job seekers do believe in them - Former employee ratings matter regardless of industry or location Are your Glassdoor or Indeed ratings lower than you'd like? Time to get curious, "listen" to what your employees are saying, and take an honest look at your culture because: •84% of the value of an S&P 500 company comes from the talents, skills, knowledge, work ethic, and health of its employees •Employees that report having a positive corporate culture are healthier, happier, more productive, and less likely to leave •Companies with positive workplace cultures have higher average annual returns Are you ready to improve your culture, employee retention, and bottom line? Let's partner and create a practical and visionary plan to make your organization a destination employer! DM me!

How do your long-term employees feel compared to a few years ago? And how likely are they to stay with your company? 🤔 Don't know? Please, ask them. 🙏 🔍 Employees in the U.S. are feeling detached from their employers compared to four years ago, according to Gallup. They reported: - less clear expectations - lower satisfaction levels with their organizations, - feeling less connected to company mission or purpose

Employees are way smarter than people think. I was meeting with the founder of an e-comm brand with +200 employees. He began confessing that he had over-hired … the company had become slow and bureaucratic. So I shared about the cuts I made to my team last year. He was horrified! He assumed it made a negative impact on the culture and that all our team would have wanted to leave Flieber. Nope! To the contrary! Everyone is happier, employee survey results came in better than ever, and productivity is at an all-time high. Employees know. They know when the company's direction is wrong; they know when it's right. And I think we can all agree that no one wants to be part of a mission being driven towards failure. So, if you think the future of the company is at risk because you over-hired, adjust the course asap! If you're fair with everyone leaving and transparent with the team staying, you'll be impressed by how much healthier your company will be. And the only thing you'll regret is not having done it sooner.

Some excellent insights, Laura! Working closely with SMBs has shown me that their ability to offer unique, wide-scope, and high-impact positions, combined with agility and flexibility, offsets some of the benefits enterprise organizations offer. Highlighting these features is key to attracting top talent!
