In 2011, per Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (now Verisk), 73% of an agency’s book of business may be underinsured by approximately 35%. That is an old statistic, because you know it's gone up since the pandemic. Speaking of Verisk, I read the 360 Value Quarterly Reconstruction Cost Analysis (Q2 2024: United States) which stated that reconstruction costs were normalizing but the total costs in the US "...including materials and retail labor, increased by 4.6% from April 2023 to April 2024, slightly more than their 4.1% rise from January 2023 to January 2024." Which made me think: insurance professionals need to check to make sure the policyholder's limits are keeping pace with inflation. NLG, please introduce yourself to the group To the items listed below, we now have National Life Group (NLG) the largest IUL issuer in annual premiums & policies in a class action lawsuit based on some keywords I scanned (non-attorney spokesperson)from the lawsuit: Racketeering, RICO, Materially misleading, Fraud My book came out in 08/2023. I called for the " 2023 subprime universal life crash", based on a decade long research into UL, VUL (and group UL/VUL). I added IUL into the research because they are the same policies (like UL/VUL), the investment is just different and very, very stupid. Now take that stupid investment and drop some RICO charges on top of the stupidity and this is a problem of epic proportions. Damn it, I hate it when I am right. Where are the IUL apologists??? 1.
