To put this into perspective, the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite delivered a return of 18.1% YTD, led by the Magnificent Seven, while US developed listed real estate delivered -0.8% in USD. 📊 🌟 Opportunity Ahead 🌟 We see listed real estate as attractive at these levels. With central banks starting to reduce rates globally, listed real estate should benefit from improved sentiment and earnings. The lack of new supply due to onerous funding terms over the last two years should create favorable demand-supply dynamics in the medium term. 🏠📉 💡 Throughout the quarter, our Catalyst Alpha Global Real Estate Fund continued to recycle relative winners into higher conviction opportunities with better risk-adjusted return outlooks. The fund is positioned in defensive sub-sectors with strong growth prospects, competent management teams, well-defined strategies, and robust balance sheets.
