What assumptions is your team making about #GivingTuesday? The team at GivingTuesday debunks three myths about this fundraising day.     1. If you think people are being asked to donate too often, think again. 50% of donors don't remember being asked to donate.     2. GivingTuesday isn’t just about donating money. 32% of participants took part in multiple ways, giving a combination of time, money, and/or goods.     3. GivingTuesday is more than a day of one-off gifts. It's an opportunity for more giving all year. In 2022, GivingTuesday surpassed New Year’s Eve as the biggest day of the year for new donor acquisition, and 12% of monthly recurring donors got their start by donating on GivingTuesday.     Learn more about the data and how to make the most of them in this article by Celeste Flores and Samir Khan of GivingTuesday: https://lnkd.in/e9Gx2dfe

I always thought that we could ask for donations to much and that donors would get tired of a company asking for donations. So, I would only ask a particular donor for a donations one time. That's what makes this information so important to me.
