In Tokyo this week, Temasek Foundation partners The University of Tokyo with support of Tokyo Metropolitan Government for the inaugural Wellbeing Economy Accelerator Tokyo (WE AT) Challenge. (https://we-at.tokyo/en/) [Track 1] Global Liveability Winner Congratulations Blusink (UK) - using “rhodolith”, crafted from innovative natural material to transform the seabed into a habitat for a multitude of marine organisms; each contributing to a hub of biodiversity including coralline algae and other species with a penchant for capturing carbon flourish on these surfaces. They will eventually form robust natural repositories and impactful carbon sinks within nature.
