❓ How can partnerships spark innovation? Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the event "The Digital Future of Supply Chain," hosted by Berlin LogTech and Sensos. Moderated by the dynamic AVIV CASTRO, we had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Christian Geerkens and Christof Backhaus of Bayer. They shared a fascinating story about how a major business headache turned into an innovative commercial product—a #smartlabel! Imagin this: they faced the challenge of barely any visibility of their products in the supply chain. What did they do? They dreamed big and envisioned a reliable, low-cost and actively communicating solution that could be attached to all of their shipments. But here's the challenge: they weren’t a tech company. Instead of tackling this on their own, they took the smart route by assembling a great team of complementary partners from the corporate world. 🚀 Together, they brainstormed, iterated, and collaborated to create the solution. Seven years, countless prototypes, and a lot of teamwork later, their vision materialized into a commercially available product— version 2.0 availabel through Sensos. As someone who has facilitated partnerships in enterprises myself, I can only imagine the immense coordination, communication, and perseverance that went into making this a reality. Congratulations!
