How are legacy gifts used by charities? Here's an example of how a gift of £66,000 left in a Will for St Peter's Hospice was put to good use by the charity. Get in touch to find out more about giving to a charity in your Will. #RememberACharityWeek

How can charities effectively measure and report on the difference they have made?
🔍 We have funded and published a two-phase research project on impact reporting by charities. The study aims to provide recommendations to the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) committee, and act as useful guidance for charity sector stakeholders.
🔑 Discover the key findings from the second report, published this week, and elevate your reporting with our examples of best impact reporting practice: https://brnw.ch/21wIYOU#EthicalLeadership#SocialImpact#ICAS
Helping fundraising leaders thrive with confidence and clarity.

This got my attention. A lot of my recent converastions with clients have been on this theme. How do we work together on challenges? Challenges in creating the talent we need in the sector. Challenges in retention. Challenges in building capability. The opportunity of building teams to high performance.
I see part of my role, working across HE and big charities, as connecting up ideas, best practice as well as making 1:1 introductions. Each sector has SO much to learn from the other. Chartieis are great at journeys, innovation, mid value, IG and HEIs excel at major gifts, principal gifts and engagement of leadership. Of course I'm generalising but these are the trends.
Pragmatically I'm also open to charities buddying up to invest in in-person training for your people (Making the Ask, Courageous Conversations, Impact and Influence) I think as well as saving costs there could be such a double benefit in a shared space.
Drop me a DM I'm open to chatting all this through :)
"It's us against them" is often a mentality we encounter in the charity sector when opportunities are finite.
Over the next two weeks I'm meeting with fundraisers from three different charities to share insights which will benefit all of our organisations.
Our sector is stronger and achieves so much more for those we support when we collaborate!
Are you ready to boost your charity's effectiveness? By working with us, you can meet the challenges that are currently facing the charity sector head on.

Today is Giving Tuesday.
And sometimes, giving feels like its a haphazard, shot in the dark, not-giving-too-much-thought, gesture.
But it doesn't have to be like that.
Using a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to power your philanthropic goals is a simple and secure way to make sure that you're giving to whom you want to give, in the most organized way possible.
Do me a favour: check out www.mycharityfund.ca, register for an account, and see how simple your charitable giving can be, especially on this Giving Tuesday.
