The importance of science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM) is becoming more apparent every day. The Foundation’s Full STEAM Ahead project aims to provide creative learning opportunities for young people to enhance their self-confidence and teach skills that will improve future employability. The latest school to attend The Halliwell Jones Stadium was Lymm High School who were supported by Foundation sponsors, Honest Payroll. The students have been working on a career transition project for professional Rugby League players equipping them for life after the sport. By introducing money skills in a real-life settings, the youngsters presented back their ideas about financial investments, general living costs and the implications of starting a new business by applying elements of the maths curriculum to their projects.
