Elia Grid International (EGI) is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Over these ten years, solid, cross-disciplinary expertise has been developed to support actors in the Power System sector, whether private companies or public entities such as TSOs and regulators, in their energy transition and/or Power System development. This expertise covers all aspects of these complex systems, including regulatory and market issues, asset management, power system development and operation studies, as well as engineering and project management for large-scale infrastructures. EGI's presence in Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and, more recently, North America, has also strengthened its understanding of the specific characteristics and challenges faced by Power System actors around the world. This is just the beginning of a long journey, given the many challenges and uncertainties that will need to be addressed in the transition to a more sustainable future where Power Systems role is significant. EGI will continue to support the various players in the Power System sector in this energy transition.

One of the highlights was designing a calendar of all festivals for the upcoming year, allowing us to plan unique and thoughtful gifts and sweets for each occasion. 🎉🍬 Additionally, I took on the task of designing job descriptions, ensuring we attract the best talent to join our innovative team. 📝💼 A personal highlight: Working on the festival calendar was particularly rewarding as it allowed me to blend creativity with strategic planning, ensuring our products bring joy to every celebration. #ProductDevelopment #MarketingStrategy #Sales #GiftPackaging #CareerMilestone

This year SIMPLE celebrates its 30th anniversary and I have spent 1 of those 30 years with the company 🍾 After 5.5 years at BSH, I didn't think I would return to FMCG from the technology sector. But now I want to share with you my top three reasons why I love Simple. And no, it's not just the opportunity to take part in product tastings 🍷 - although testing wine and vacuum cleaners are two very different types of internal product testing 😃 1/ The cosmopolitan nature of the company - working with the best suppliers in the world and with many marketers who specialise in different regions and bring a piece of their country's culture with them. 2/ The company's resilience and crisis management - in a country where economic and political upheavals are constant and family businesses are almost non-existent, 30 years is a truly significant milestone. 3/ Developing the country's wine culture - it's not just about putting wine on the shelves. It includes our own media, an in-house marketing agency, and expertise in developing our own brands. I wish Simple many more milestones over the next 30 years, and I wish all my colleagues continued drive! 🥂

Last Friday was filled with big smiles! 🏌🎄 Competing in minigolf with these amazing colleagues made it impossible to be in a bad mood. Our Christmas Party at Unify Partners also marked a special milestone for me: my first year with UP. The saying “time flies when you’re in good company” couldn’t be more true. ✨ While Christmas and New Year might just be random dates, the time always prompts me to look back. Obviously, not everything ever goes as planned, but focusing on the positives and allowing myself to feel grateful brings me so much energy. So here it is! 🎉 Some of the milestones, we've reached in 2024, that fills me with pride are: - Defining our Core DNA as the foundation for future growth - Establishing our joint Strategy25 for sustainable growth - Enhancing our service offerings with talented people and expertise in AI & Analytics, ESG & sustainability, and Supply Chain Excellence (you know, who you are) - Professionalizing our ways of working, both in people processes and in our services to customers - All the initiatives on being a great place to work: engagement dialogues, team workshops, and not least social events - Achieving a stable and sustainable growth of approximately 20-25% with an amazing team Being part of a scale-up company is incredibly energizing, and I'm already looking forward to my next year. I've had a fantastic few days celebrating a big birthday this week! Reflecting on the past year, which has been both personally and professionally challenging, has given me the chance to pause and think as I embark on a new decade. This milestone in my life has made me appreciate the journey of my consultancy business, which is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year. Over these years, there have been highs and lows and I’ve learned a lot. Today, I'm fortunate to work with wonderful clients, explore new ventures and continuously develop my business development and marketing skills. Milestones in life and work are essential markers of progress and achievement. They signify personal growth, transitions and collective accomplishments. As with any marketing strategy, each stage of growth, whether small or large, should be noted and celebrated, indicating progression, company growth and team achievements. This, in turn, boosts motivation and morale. As I move forward, I am excited about the new opportunities and challenges ahead.
