🎁 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🎁 This was me on my bike when I was about six years old. 😂😂 Over the subsequent years, I have made the most wonderful friends - many, many of whom are still fast friends who surround me today. My friends have been around me at the happiest & the saddest of life’s moments - as I hope I’ve been for them. During my working career, I’ve worked in HR, estate agents and education. I have even run a family business for ten years, selling ice hockey equipment to ice rinks. Over this time, I met and worked with the most remarkable people. Later on, when I had young children, I started a proofreading/blogging business which is when I first heard of networking. This was a game changer. For 15 fabulous years, I’ve been involved with The Athena Network firstly as a member & then as a leader of women-only business networking groups. I’m now surrounded, led, encouraged and supported by women in all directions both locally & further afield. Now, that’s certainly something to celebrate! I’m super-proud and super-thankful for the Athena Network. For everything I’ve learned… For everything the network has brought for me… For everything the network has meant I could also do for other women... Who are you proud to know?
