Where do the nerds in #GTM hang out? Well, one place is the PLGTM conference, held this week in SF. It's one of the few conferences I've been to where everyone is in the session (not hanging out in the lobby), listening, and taking notes. It's also maybe the only GTM conference I've ever been to where the presentations ranged from high-level frameworks to pseudo-code and everything in between. We heard practitioners from: ▶ Grammarly ▶ YouTube ▶ Superhuman ▶ Carta ▶ Twilio ▶ Hex ▶ Jam ▶ Prefect ▶ Zuora ▶ New Relic ▶ Sendoso ▶ Deepgram ...as well as some industry-level perspectives from Gartner, Winning by Design, Nylas and First Round Capital. In the hallways I chatted with heads of product and growth from Atlassian, Amplitude, Snap Inc., Zoom, and many, many more. The content focused on bringing sales into PLG or vice versa--we heard strategies and tactics from both directions. There was some very cool stuff on AI-generated SEO, how to work around cookie restrictions, compensation in PLS, and so much more. So if you're a nerd in GTM... follow Dave Rigotti, who organized the whole thing, and look for a chance to register next year. This has been developed from and steered me through dozens of martech and revtech engagements over the years, and helped shape our visionary martech stack at Ramp.
