My critique underscores the importance of recognizing the Western origins of international human rights norms and the implications this has for their acceptance and adaptation in diverse cultural contexts. While constructivism allows for the internalization and localization of norms, it must also address the challenges posed by cultural relativism and the potential for fragmentation in global governance. Acknowledging these complexities is essential for fostering a more inclusive dialogue on human rights that respects cultural diversity while promoting shared values.

For International Human Rights Day, Ergon's Brett Dodge and Genevieve Auld presented to Holland & Barrett's internal team about how human rights are relevant for H&B business and supply chains.
