If this lights you up, then you are our people. I was not in the agile space when I joined my first one in Paris in 2017. I barely knew what agility meant, but I was curious about open space technology. After three days of meaningful interaction and personal insights, I was hooked. It took me a few times attending to grasp and master the art of attending an open space conference, where the responsibility of my experience was fully in my own hands. But once I did it was so empowering and satisfying! I even tried a few times to go to other conferences and I left them feeling so... disappointed. Where was the energy? The connection? The love? The point?! Honestly, I don't call myself an agile coach. I'm a change agent. And I attend this conference each year because I consistently leave with new perspectives and the feeling of hope, because I see other wonderful people in the world who are doing their best, with the tools and knowledge they have, to be better. And to support each other. Agility gives us a framework /common language, but that's it. Which is why we felt this theme was the right one for 2025. The world feels really messy, scary, and not very kind right now. But, trust me, when you build a community full of genuine, curious and imperfect people who want to learn together, it's more than an event. It carries beyond its time and space. It changes people. And that's what will change the world. Big talk for an event that only sells 300 tickets, but that's why we're selling them now. Because we don't know what will happen in a few months, how the world will look, but we can anticipate something wonderful in August 2025! Go get your ticket. And then look for me at the entrance. I'll be the one standing there giving out hugs and adventure tips for Munich! https://lnkd.in/g3gA59Xh
We settled on a theme for ALE25: Weaving Community We're better together. What ultimately makes this conference special are the people. Not only the familiar faces, but also the new ones—those attracted to the possibility of meaningful conversations and unexpected insights. This event creates a space for more than just an exchange of knowledge; it fosters a sense of connection that lasts beyond the sessions, across both time and distance. If this resonates with you, grab your ticket, invite others who would thrive here, and keep bringing your ideas and questions! Because it truly is amazing what we create when we're all together!

"Bye bye DEI?: Will Companies Still Care in 2025?" This promises to be a great discussion, but first it has to be voted in. More info below, including how to cast your vote for this panel with Lulu Seikaly, Cloey Callahan and Hebba Youssef!
The South by Southwest (SxSW) Conference takes place in Austin, TX and provides an opportunity for the global community of creatives to encounter cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with other professionals who share a similar appetite for forward-focused experiences. Payscale is partnering with thought leaders to submit a panel for SxSW 2025. Title: "Bye Bye DEI? Will Companies Still Care in 2025?" Panelists: Hebba Youssef from Workweek, Cloey Callahan from Worklife, and Lulu Seikaly from Payscale Description: From uncertain economic times and affirmative action to a heightened geo-politically fueled environment, companies are cutting back on DEI initiatives as quickly as they were implemented in 2020. This panel brings together diverse perspectives on DEI — or lack of it. Payscale's commitment to DEIB remains steadfast. This is an important opportunity to continue the conversation around the future of DEIB with a global community of fellow thought leaders and industry professionals. Please help us make it to the stage by casting your vote! To vote, sign in to PanelPicker or create a free SXSW account with just your email. https://lnkd.in/gk_aVBXH
