As women's month comes to a close, this week's #IconicAdsPlaybook celebrates the contributions that mothers make in the lives of many children in the society. Now here is the iconic ad for this week: -P&G's "Thank You, Mom" campaign for the Olympics celebrated the role of mothers in athletes' journeys. -By focusing on universal themes of support and sacrifice, P&G created a powerful emotional connection with a broad audience. 👉 The lesson for marketers is the effectiveness of universal themes. Supporting women is ingrained in our ethos. In fact, 65% of the businesses we support are led by women. With a female co-founder, we wholeheartedly celebrate and champion women and girls venturing into self employment. We have collaborated with techSPARK Swindon & Wiltshire, Business West and The Workshed on an upcoming event on March 21st, dedicated to celebrating the inspiring women in our area. The goal of this event is to empower those contemplating starting their own business to take the leap, and celebrate those who have. This years theme for #IWD is inclusion. We are gathering for an informal discussion with some remarkable Female Founders, focusing on supporting women and girls into leadership, entrepreneurialism, and inclusion. We will be discussing questions that are often easier to ignore, such as how to ensure our efforts aren't tokenistic, why representation matters, and why inspiring inclusion is so important.
