We are looking forward to Construction Inclusion Week! While we work hard to be inclusive all the time, this is an excellent reminder that being intentional is crucial to making an impact. I challenge everyone to make efforts in your workplace to create an intentionally inclusive environment. When you are building your teams, ask yourself if you have created a team that includes people from different backgrounds, different cultures, genders and points of view. Studies have shown that diverse teams are the most productive, the most profitable and the most resilient. #constructioninclusionweek #Inclusion #construction
Thanks JE Dunn Construction for your continued support & participation as an #AmbassadorSponsor of #ConstructionInclusionWeek and as a #LocalMarketUnderwriter of our Kansas City Networking Event. Together, we’re helping build workplaces where respect, belonging, and accountability thrive.

• Knight Frank Canberra / 2024 Wrap-up • I am immensely proud to be a part of this story. Unquestionably, 2024 had plenty of challenges but, surrounded by great colleagues and friends, we go to the Christmas break buoyed by our new direction. Business wins are invariably important, however what I am most proud of came from our most recent anonymous survey results, highlighting: Canberra houses the happiest and most engaged cohort of colleagues, nationwide - 100% are proud to work for Knight Frank - 100% would recommend Knight Frank as a great place to work - 100% can bring their whole self to work - 100% feel respected - 100% feel like they belong - 100% believe there are equal opportunities for career growth and development for individuals of all backgrounds - 100% stated that the firm values and encourages diversity - 100% are comfortable sharing their personal background and experiences - 100% state their immediate manager works effectively with people who are different from themselves - 100% state sex-based harassment is not tolerated This is a testament to the team, not only management, being there for each other during a challenging commercial real estate environment and actually “walking the walk”. Excited for 2025 – but also, very keen for a break. Onwards and upwards. #KnightFrankCanberra Rebecca Jakubaszek - AAPI

Yesterday I was so pleased to have coordinated Macpherson Kelley's second Southeast Workforce Forum. In 2019, I walked into the Victorian legal sector as a young, Zimbabwean-born, woman of colour, having left Brisbane, battered by domestic violence, but not broken. The fight to be heard left scars, but it also ignited a fire within me – a fire for equality, a future where all humans feel safe and empowered. Yesterday, that fire burned brighter than ever. We tackled critical issues like ESG, ethical AI, and responsible work practices – the building blocks of a stronger, fairer Australia. We weren't just discussing challenges, but as business and industry leaders, we were building solutions together. We heard from Sandra George OAM representing SEBN on behalf of City of Greater Dandenong, Honi Walker from South East Melbourne Manufacturers Alliance (SEMMA), Sami Mäkeläinen from Institute for the Future, Kelly Dickson, Nicole Brown and Sebastian Renato, with the panel being expertly moderated by Luke Gattuso from Macpherson Kelley. It was a collective commitment to a future where businesses don't just succeed, they thrive based on strong values and ethical decisions. This means taking action – fostering responsible workplaces that effectively meet legal obligations, ethically adopting AI, mitigating safety risks, and addressing modern slavery in supply chain not just because the law requires it, but because good business benefits the common good. Yes, for me, it is personal. Lawyers give advice. Leaders make choices based on our advice. By making values-based recommendations, we can pave the way for a better future. #ValuesDriveProgress #ESG #ResponsibleBusiness #WorkplaceRelations
We had an incredible turnout at our Southeast Workforce Forum yesterday! Featuring a panel of experts, our guests learned about key topics affecting businesses in Melbourne’s Southeast. A special thanks to all who attended and our guest speakers, Sandra George, Sami Mäkeläinen, Honi Walker, Kelly Dickson, Sapphire Parsons, Sebastian Renato, Nicole Brown, and Luke Gattuso for co-hosting the event. #MKEvents City of Greater Dandenong #Melbourne

https://lnkd.in/epgVuazQ Is Commercial Real Estate Really "Coming Back to Life?" Many hope so, making properties more "attractive to employees." But what's truly appealing? Flexibility. Not needing to be in the office more than twice a week. Nearly half of U.S. office space needs to vanish before prices stabilize. CEOs forcing workers back full-time are miscalculating—those ignoring employee preferences won't last. Over the next 18 months, we’ll see continued market instability until a new wave of leadership emerges, aligned with workforce expectations. The American Workforce is speaking clearly and saying "We’re not going back". Until we make the appropriate reductions in the volume of office space, neither will the price of commercial real estate. #CommercialRealEstate #FutureOfWork #HybridWork #WorkplaceFlexibility #Leadership #EmployeeExperience #RealEstateTrends
