Procurement: Experience of hard-core purchase of fabrication item is required. Knowledge of costing of machining & fabrication of Stainless steel, steel & aluminum is must. Vendor development by global sourcing & enhancing existing vendor quality. Experience of dealing with multinationals bought outs including electrical, pneumatics & hardware and negotiate by constantly updating market various options available (for A class suppliers) Maintaining stock and controlling it by establishing a system of EOQ, min stock, max stock etc. strong knowledge of Excel or ERP is required. Manufacturing Excellence: Upgrading quality standards to the highest level so that entire machines can be exported back to our European Partner. Creating excellence by implementing 5S, KAIZEN, LEAN Manufacturing amongst the group. Should have ability to make the machines with ZERO problem for first 3 years (if given full authority & freedom in all the areas). Leadership: Develop systems, implement processes amongst team and inspire team to perform. High ambition, once fulfill current responsibility, should be ready to take next level assignment (i.e.: taking marketing under him or starting new company etc.) Converting the company’s vision into his mission and percolate to every level of company's culture. Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals. Customer support: responsible for driving superior customer support to business clients through policies, procedures, and setting of goals. Project Erection & Commissioning : about 50-70 projects per year under timeline with the help of team, Complain Solving : Solving customer complains in shortest possible time by service department, Taking design inputs and finding root cause analysis, Against every complain take necessary corrective and preventive actions to avoid this complain in future. Design & Quality Enhancer: Base on service engineers & customer feedback, give regular inputs to design department and make necessary changes for better quality, zero complains and adding new features.

Are you a Quality Engineer? Are you frustrated with the challenges in maintaining high-quality standards? With over 25 years of experience in recruiting Inspectors, Quality Engineers and Quality Managers, I have a good understanding of the frustrations many engineers face. Often there is a lack of investment available to purchase new technology which impedes your ability to ensure a quality product is manufactured. Inadequate Training and Development opportunities are common. Moreover, poor leadership significantly impacts on job satisfaction. Frequent conflicts and lack of cooperation from other teams often create a challenging work environment. This all increases workload, heightened stress levels, creates unrealistic deadlines and leads to burnout. Quality Engineers are often overlooked due to a lack of clear career progression and advancement opportunities, resulting in stagnation which results to people leaving the industry altogether. If this sounds familiar, remember it doesn't have to be this way. Many of the companies I deal with have excellent Quality Departments and are supportive to their Quality Engineers.
