And I'm your de facto Head, Circle Line. 👴 Taking care of the line that connects all other lines, I understand the importance of ensuring high reliability, availability, maintainability and of course, Safety standards (RAMS) across the line. I also understand that a 3-car configuration on the line that connects all lines has been unsustainable and the only way to mitigate was to increase frequency. Since 2022, I've been attending to as many disruptions, both unplanned and planned as I can, to ensure everyone continues to have a smooth and seamless journey regardless of whatever may come. To me, MKBF is nothing. I'm one to focus more on the qualitative aspect of things, such as how well RIMP is managed — there's good and bad, but still mostly bad. Doesn't matter which G or which Z, I strive to take care of the line from #StationOps to Control Ops to you guessed it... taking care of Rolling Stock so it never becomes laughing stock. 🌟 Day 4 is complete and that means, sadly, IEUK has to come to an end! 📊 The first task of the day was to complete our work sample for submission. The task for the work sample was to create a pitch for a new charity partnership for British Airways’ ‘BA Better World’ campaign, which aims to create a more sustainable future. Work hard. 2. Take every opportunity. 3. Network. 4. Use every opportunity as a learning opportunity. 5. Be ambitious! 💬 James Uffindell, Bright Network’s CEO, finished off the day, sharing insights that really stuck with me and have encouraged me to stay resilient and confident throughout my job search: ‘There are going to be things that you can’t control, but you can control how you react’. He also offered additional job support through Bright Network, such as the Career Launchpad and Career Pathway Test. 📚 Overall, IEUK 2024 has been an incredible and worthwhile experience, and I have learned so much, including: - Vital skills employers in the business, operations, and marketing sector look for. - Organisation frameworks for time management and task prioritisation, such as the Gantt chart and Eisenhower Matrix. - The STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach, ideal for answering competency questions in interviews. - What to expect when starting a graduate role in companies such as Nestlé, Mondelez, Adobe, and AlphaSights. - The importance of first impressions and building a personal brand. - The difference between B2B and B2C sales and marketing roles. - How to conduct a pitch. 🙏 I would like to thank everyone at Bright Network for such an incredible experience, including Philip Yarrow and Rachel Delaney for being amazing hosts, and of course, James Uffindell and everyone working behind the scenes! #ieuk #ieuk2024 #networking #graduate

#ekip exists because we believe that creativity can change the world. And the challenge is that effective support mechanisms for the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) are often lacking. Our #mission is to support and grow the CCIs by helping them innovate, protect their cultural heritage, and adopt sustainable practices. We want to create a community where creative ideas can thrive, boosting the economy and making Europe greener and more inclusive. How do we work on that? As Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth, Coordinator for ekip, from Lund University and Future by Lund puts it: ‘’We work for innovation with policy as our tool!’’. This means that ekip leverages policy-making as a strategic instrument to foster innovation within CCIs. How do you spell it? 👉🏼 A question we often get when introducing our company. Though the name has been around for more than 5 years in the Netherlands, we just started the company in Denmark October last year. The main focus of our company is to: 1. Integrate our different knowledge, experience and know-how from both #innovation and #transformation to aspire for making real sustainable impact as a top priority for our clients - we often call it #humanisinginnovation. 2. Disrupt the traditional consultancy model and create a workplace built on collaboration, freedom and fairness. And by the way - nlmtd stands for unlimited. Yes - we removed all the vowels 🙃
