An article published by the Defense Health Agency reports that in 2021, there were 488 incident cases of heat stroke and 1,864 incident cases of heat exhaustion among active component service members of the U.S. Armed Forces. As temperatures continue to rise around the world, defence forces continue the long battle in hot and arduous environments. Prevention is a key factor. The Australian Defence Force (ADF) along with other forces are working hard to highlight this issue. In the latest edition of Duty First Magazine, the team at Bodytrak® share how precise, real-time physiological monitoring can transform military safety practices and safeguard personnel against heat and fatigue-related injuries and fatalities. https://lnkd.in/eM5pBDrN #defense #military #healthandwellness #safety #wearables
