Edit your ad creatives

Once you’ve created and saved ad creatives to a campaign in Campaign Manager, there are options to edit the details of the ad, such as the headline, copy, image, or landing page URL.

Note: The ability to edit ad creatives varies by ad format. Sponsored Content creatives can't be edited after your campaign has completed.

Changes to Sponsored Messaging

Sponsored Content ads include the following ad formats:
- Single image ads
- Video ads
- Carousel image ads
- Single job ads
- Event ads
- Document ads
Depending on the Sponsored Content ad format selected and how your ad was created, you may be able to make edits to the ad. Sponsored Content ads can be created directly in Campaign Manager while building your campaign. You can also sponsor a Page post as a single image, video, event, or document ad.

Direct Sponsored Content ads are Sponsored Content ad formats created directly in Campaign Manager. You can edit Direct Sponsored Content ads by editing your campaigns.

You'll need ad account and LinkedIn Page permissions to edit Direct Sponsored Content.

To edit a Direct Sponsored Content ad for a Classic campaign:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. Select the correct campaign group and campaign name where the ad is saved.

You can edit a message ad or conversation ad for your LinkedIn ad campaign.

To edit a message or conversation ad creative:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. On the Campaign groups and Campaigns tabs, select the required campaign group and campaign.
4. Move your cursor over the ad name and click Edit.

After you’ve created a Classic campaign, you can edit the campaign’s settings such as the audience, placement, or ads in the campaign. You can’t change the objective or ad format after a campaign has been launched.

To edit campaign details:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. Select the correct campaign group on the Campaign groups tab.
4. On the Campaigns tab, move your cursor over the campaign name and click Edit.
