Changes to Sponsored Messaging

At LinkedIn, we’re always exploring new ways to help our members foster meaningful connections and create opportunities. From time to time, we review our set of features to evaluate how they're being used, and we pride ourselves on being able to embrace and respond to customer feedback to ensure the best experience. 

As a result of customer feedback, we’ve decided to:

  • Extend availability for the message ad format. From September 26, 2023, you can once again create new message ad campaigns in Campaign Manager. You'll continue to have the ability to create, edit, and run message ads in Campaign Manager for the foreseeable future.
  • Delay the release of the new and improved conversation ad format features so we can work to bring you the best Sponsored Messaging experience for your marketing objectives. This decision means that, for now, we will test these new features only on a limited basis. You can continue creating conversation ad campaigns as normal. There’s no need to change your creative, targeting, or bidding approach.
