You can create a LinkedIn Page for free, helping you represent and build your organization’s brand on LinkedIn. Pages help members learn more about your business or school, brand, products and services, and job opportunities.
Once you create a Page, we recommend you review the following ways to protect your Page and brand on LinkedIn.
Two-step authentication adds an additional layer of security to prevent bad actors from gaining access to your LinkedIn profile, as well as Pages that you manage as an admin. To further protect your Page, each admin who has access to your Page can set up two-step authentication to protect their own profiles and all of the Pages that they have admin access to.
You can set up two-step authentication using an authenticator app, your phone number, and through a sign-in security prompt. If you believe someone has hacked your account, learn more about how to report a compromised account.
If a member is sending your Page spam, inappropriate, or abusive messages, you can:
As an admin, you can disable messaging from all members, either temporarily or permanently, from your inbox settings. This will remove the Message button from your Page. Learn more about how to disable messages for your LinkedIn Page.
As an admin, we recommend you periodically review and update permission settings for admins of your Page.
As a super admin, you’ll have the most access to a Page, including the ability to view public profile information for other admins of the Page. You can assign specific types of admin roles based on the level of access that each person requires on the Page. For example, if an intern needs access to export monthly analytics, you may want to assign them Analyst permissions, rather than Super Admin permissions.
As a member, you can add a verification badge to your profile by confirming specific information about your account, including your identity, workplace, and educational institution.
If you don’t see the option to verify your workplace with work email, it might be because your current company doesn't have workplace verification enabled.

The verification badge on a LinkedIn Page helps signal that the Page is an official Page of the organization. Verification helps organizations build credibility with potential customers, and helps members find the actual organizations they intended to engage with.
Page verification isn’t currently available for all Pages. We’re gradually making Page verification available to more organizations.

To ensure your organization’s Page remains actively managed, it’s a best practice to make consistent Page posts. Pages that haven’t had much activity may appear as if they’re not an official Page of an organization or that they’re not active on LinkedIn. Maintaining some activity on the Page will keep members interested in learning more about the company, and for employees to associate the Page with their organization.
If you find any Pages that represent your organization, which is already represented by an established LinkedIn Page, you can request to have it removed as a duplicate. To report duplicate Pages, you can contact our support team. If you find any Pages that do not belong on LinkedIn, you can report the Page.
