Dynamic jobs ads advertising specifications

Jobs ads are dynamic ads that are personalized and promote one or more job opportunities to qualified LinkedIn members in your target audience. The ads are dynamically generated in three types: Jobs You May Be Interested In, Picture Yourself, and Jobs Page.

The following table provides important requirements for jobs ads.

Area Requirement
Company name Use up to 25 characters, including spaces.
Logo 

Recommended minimum logo size: 100 x 100 pixels.

Note: Smaller company logos will appear reduced and might not perform as well. Larger company logos will be reduced to 100 x 100 pixels. Company logos that are not square will be reduced so that the largest dimension fits.

Ad name (optional) Name your individual ad up to 255 characters, including spaces.
Ad headline Choose from one of the suggested options or write your own custom text using up to 70 characters, including spaces.
Call-to-action (CTA) button label

Choose from one of the pre-set CTAs or supply your own custom text. For "Picture Yourself" and "Jobs Page" ads, the CTA is automated. For the "Jobs of Interest" ad, you can customize the CTA.

Note: Pre-set options are automatically translated but custom text is not. Use up to 44 characters, including spaces.

The following table provides important default behaviors for jobs ads.

Member profile images are not available A default profile image will be used.
Jobs You May Be Interested In ad format Will be shown to members who have at least three applicable job opportunities from the company.
Picture Yourself ad format Will be shown to members who match with one or two current job openings at the company.
A member has no suitable job matches with your company A member will see the Jobs Page ad format directing them to the LinkedIn Page jobs tab to explore opportunities.
Ad renderings All ad renderings are viewable in the Campaign Manager ad setup preview.

Jobs You May Be Interested In (JYMBII) ads

JYMBII desktop ads for members who qualify for three or more job opportunities in your organization

These JYMBII ads give you the ability to target professionals who have three relevant job opportunities at your organization.

Clickable areas:

  • Clicks on jobs redirect to the specific Job Detail page.
  • Clicks on CTA text redirects to the Careers or Life tab on your LinkedIn Page.

These JYMBII ads are shown when members are searching for people who are employed by your organization.

Clickable areas:

  • Clicks on the ad redirect to the Jobs tab on your LinkedIn Page where the member will see jobs recommended for them.

These JYMBII ads for mobile give you the ability to target professionals by sending job opportunities to their mobile devices.

Clickable areas:

  • Clicks on the ad redirect to the LinkedIn Jobs search page for your organization.

Default behaviors:

  • When member profile images are not available, a default profile image will be used.
  • Jobs You May Be Interested In on mobile will only be shown to members who have applicable job opportunities from your organization.

Format:

  • Top line: "Work at [Company Name]"
  • Bottom line: "See suggested Jobs"

Picture Yourself ads for members qualified for one or two jobs at your organization

This Picture Yourself ad format targets professionals with personalized ads if the members are qualified for one or two jobs at your organization.

Clickable areas:

  • Clicks on the logo redirect to the Careers or Life tab on your LinkedIn Page.
  • Clicks on the CTA text redirect to the specific Job Detail page.

If a member doesn’t match three or more of your available jobs, they’ll see a more general ad encouraging them to explore job openings with your organization.

The Jobs Page ad format is shown to members who don’t match any current job openings with your organization.

Clickable areas:

  • Clicks on your logo redirect to the Careers or Life tab on your LinkedIn Page.
  • Clicks on CTA text redirect to the Jobs tab on your LinkedIn Page.
