Approve or deny an app verification request for a LinkedIn Page

Last updated: 1 year ago

Page super admins can approve or deny an app verification request from a developer who wants to associate their app with a specific LinkedIn Page.

To approve or deny an app verification request:

  1. Click the unique URL that contains the app verification request sent to you by the developer. Clicking the URL takes you to the Developer Portal.

  2. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your LinkedIn account.

  3. A page opens and contains the request details, your Page information, app information, and the requestor’s name. If you’re a 1st-degree connection with the requestor, this will also show along with some of their basic profile information.

  4. You can either approve or deny the request.

Results

  • As a Page super admin, when you approve the association to an app, you’re also taking responsibility for it. Once approval is complete, it cannot be undone.
  • If you click the unique URL after 30 days, the page will show an expired message and the developer must resend a new unique URL link.
  • If another Page super admin approves the app, the page will show an approved message.
