The sender of a message ad or conversation ad campaign plays an important role in representing your brand and influencing the reader's experience with your Sponsored Messaging ad. You can send variations of your message ad from different senders to test for effectiveness by the sender's title (prestige), picture (welcoming), or name (recognition or language).
To use a company’s brand or name as a Sponsored Messaging sender, contact our support team.
You can send requests to your 1st-degree connections.
You can't cancel a sender request once it's been sent to the invited member, but you can remove a sender from an account.

Senders don't need to have access to your account before you send a permission request. When sender permission requests are sent, senders are granted access to the associated Sponsored Messaging campaign and account.
If you sent the request, click Copy request link on the right side of the invited member’s name in your campaign’s sender list. You can then send the link directly to the invited member using your preferred communication tool, such as, LinkedIn Messaging, chat, or email.
Yes, invited members can view Sponsored Messaging creatives for any campaigns that they were invited to be a sender.

While you can’t remove a sender permission request that has been sent to an invited member, you can change the sender on a Sponsored Message ad unless the ad has already been canceled. Changing the sender only affects ads sent after the sender was changed. Any ad that was already sent displays the previous sender.
You can remove Sponsored Messaging senders from your ad account. Removing a sender’s access to the ad account results in ads with that sender to automatically stop delivering. The status of ads with the sender will show as Canceled. Canceled ads can’t be accessed or duplicated.
If an invited member approves but later rejects their sender permission request for a specific account, or if they are removed from the account, then any Sponsored Messaging ads where they are the designated sender are canceled. This action cannot be reversed. If the campaign runs other ads that are not impacted by the change in sender, the campaign continues to be active.
You can change the default sender in the creative setup if the member is an approved sender for the campaign. Only an account manager can add Sponsored Messaging senders. Members with viewer access do not have this capability.
If the default sender for an ad is changed, the new sender is used on the ad from that point on. Any ads previously delivered to members' inboxes using the default sender remain the same.
