LinkedIn focuses on providing a relevant feed that encourages members to engage with people and topics they value. Our goal is to provide each professional with relevant content. In particular, your LinkedIn feed contains insights from your network, companies you follow, sponsored content, and other posts that we believe you may be interested in.

You may see recommended content with labels such as Trending, Recommended for you, or Popular in your feed. This recommended content is determined by LinkedIn's algorithms and editorial team. We incorporate signals on and off LinkedIn designed to find the right stories, articles, videos, and more to make professionals better at what they do.
You may see content about connections or organizations you follow with labels such as Latest News or Mentioned in the News in your feed. This content is derived from an automated tool that looks for online news articles and matches names in the articles with organizations and LinkedIn members. Learn more about Mentioned in the News.
Unlike an organization's own updates from its LinkedIn Page, the Latest News articles are not intended to represent the organization or its point of view. In addition to the Mentioned in the News or Latest News label, you can identify such articles by the LinkedIn news icon that appears next to the article.
Sponsored Content allows organizations to raise awareness, build relationships, and drive quality leads through their LinkedIn Page updates. Sponsored Content is shown to LinkedIn members who follow the sponsoring organization on LinkedIn, and may also be shown to members who fit the audience criteria of the advertiser. However, most of your updates will continue to be organic information from your network.
There are multiple ways to customize and manage the content that appears in your feed. You can follow, unfollow, or mute people, companies, and hashtags, hide content in your feed that you don't want to see, and report inappropriate content.
