Hide content in your feed

If you see a post in your feed that you're not interested in, you can click  in the upper-right corner of the post to hide it. You can share your feedback or undo it if clicked by mistake. To share your feedback, select the option that best describes your concern.

  • Not this topic - This feedback may be used to help improve the Feed experience.
  • Not [author's name] posts - You will unfollow the author or the company. If you don't follow the author of the post, their posts will be muted from your Feed. You can change this under Settings in the People you unfollowed section under General preferences.
  • Not appropriate for LinkedIn - This feedback may be used to help us improve the Feed experience. If you believe the content violates LinkedIn’s Professional Community Policies, you can report it to us.

You can also let us know by choosing the I don’t want to see this option on the individual post. Doing so will prevent the post from appearing in your feed again and allow you to provide feedback.

To hide a post:
  1. Click the More icon on the upper right of a post.
  2. Click I don’t want to see this.

  3. Select from the following options that best describes your concern in the Don’t want to see this pop-up window:

    • I’m not interested in the author
    • I’m not interested in this topic
    • It’s something else
  4. Click Submit. A confirmation message appears stating that you won’t see the post in your feed again.
