When setting up Sponsored Messaging, advertisers can request additional sender permissions for their message or conversation ad campaigns. LinkedIn members may receive requests for Sponsored Messaging sender permissions from advertisers who would like to feature them as the sender of the Sponsored Messaging. If a member grants sender permission, Sponsored Messaging is displayed in their LinkedIn Messaging from the designated senders. This feature provides increased personalization and message relevance to targeted members.
When you receive a request to be a sender on a LinkedIn Sponsored Messaging campaign, you can approve or reject this request by following the link provided in the request email. You can also manage Sponsored Messaging requests in Campaign Manager.
To change the sender permission for specific ad accounts at any time:

Sign in to Campaign Manager.

Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the page.

Select Manage Sponsored Messaging Sender Permissions.

Switch the toggle to the right side of the required account to On or Off.

The creator of the Sponsored Messaging campaign will receive an email notification of permission approval or rejection.
Important to know
When you receive sender permission requests, you will have Viewer access to the campaign creatives in the requested Campaign Manager account. You can review the company that has requested you as a sender, the campaign that you are being requested as a sender, and the creative assets that are part of that campaign.

LinkedIn Page: To review the LinkedIn Page that the Sponsored Messaging is created for, sign in to Campaign Manager and locate the account associated with the Sponsored Messaging campaign. Click the company name to the right side of the ad account name.

Campaigns: To review the campaigns, sign in to Campaign Manager and click the account, campaign group, and campaign name.

Messages: To review message or conversation ad creatives, you can send a test message to your LinkedIn Messaging. You can also view conversation ads in Campaign Manager.
