In 2024, 11,000 calls were made through our EmpowerNET regional 24/7 crisis hotline. 1,600 people were provided services for healing and stability. Our domestic violence survivors spent 1,238 nights in YWCA emergency shelters to ensure escape from their abuser. We now have 5 total Sprout Schools and have opened 2 new Sprout Schools in 2024. We now can provide high quality early education and dependable childcare for 300 children in the Richmond region. At YWCA Richmond, we believe in the power of hope – hope that envisions a future where peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all is not just an aspiration, but a reality. With your support, we are able to translate this vision into action. Our work this year reached people where they were, when they needed it, offering safety and empowerment. Together, we are working for a future where every woman, child, and family has the support and resources they need to thrive. These are just a few examples of how your donation helps translate our vision into action. Knowing the challenges we face in the coming years, your support is absolutely critical to our ability to continue and expand our efforts.
