We are incredibly grateful and honored to announce that dayo has been awarded the prestigious Oregon Entrepreneurs Network AOTech investment! This recognition is a huge milestone for us, and it reinforces our mission to empower people to take control of their time, one mindful moment at a time. At Dayo, we believe your time is the most valuable resource. Our app was built with a simple goal: to help you be more intentional with how much time you spend on social media, and reward you for making positive changes. Whether it’s reducing digital distractions, reconnecting with the world around you, or simply finding more balance, Dayo is here to make it easier—and rewarding—along the way. This investment from OEN AOTech will allow us to continue building an app that truly aligns with our core values: mindfulness, empowerment, and balance. It’s not just about technology—it’s about using tech to create a healthier relationship with it. Thank you to OEN AOTech for believing in our vision. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to bring even more features and opportunities to our community of mindful users. To everyone who’s been a part of this journey—thank you! Let’s keep building something amazing together. 💙 #Dayo #OENInvestment #MindfulTech #Gratitude #AOTech #socialmedia #rewards #startup #portland #oregon

dayo is on a roll! And we got to meet the mayor of Beaverton Lacey Beaty. 🥳 dayo was one of three companies chosen for the City of Beaverton and Oregon Startup Center 2024 investment, along with David Ngene, Jr and Pacmodo, and Dan Sperring of AlignICP. Oregon's approach is commendable, with cities like Portland, Beaverton, Bend, Eugene, and Salem all nurturing vibrant startup ecosystems. This collective effort showcases the state's commitment to fostering entrepreneurial spirit and driving economic progress through diverse and dynamic startup communities. Thank you to Jim McCreight and the whole team. #startup #portland #beaverton #vc #fundraising #socialmedia #IRL #dayo Corey Scholibo Patrick Triato

dayo has racked up another win! 🥳 Run by the Oregon Startup Center, we were picked as one of the three investments by The 2025 Beaverton Startup Challenge. Funding for the Startup Challenge comes from the city of Beaverton and the Westside Startup Fund. The program is industry-agnostic but looks for companies with high-growth potential. Winners include: AlignICP is a business-to-business software company founded by Dan Sperring, a past executive at local software companies Hubb and Airship and an alum of Webtrends. AlignICP’s software helps customers target their fastest growing and most profitable customer segments. dayo is an app to help people limit their social media use by rewarding them with partner brand products. The company is founded by Corey Scholibo, who founded and sold supplements startup Wile, and Patrick Triato, who founded consumer products startup Goodwell Co. Dayo won this year’s Oregon Entrepreneurs Network Technology competition. Pacmodo is making a modular backpack designed to adapt to people’s needs providing flexibility and reducing waste from discarded products that no longer meet a person’s needs. The company launched through a Kickstarter campaign this year and is founded by ex-Nike execs David Ngene, Jr and Sebastian Tesche. Startups this year are receiving $25,000 in investment. This is the second year in a row that the challenge has selected just three companies. A total of 46 companies have received $1.2 million through the 10-year-old Beaverton Startup Challenge. Those companies have gone on to raise more than $100 million in added investment, according to program officials.

Couldn't be more excited for dayo to be selected as one of the top 5 Finalists 🙌 for the Angel Oregon Tech Investment! AOTech is one of three Angel Oregon programs organized by Oregon Entrepreneurs Network in addition to an educational component for founders the programs can feature investment potential. This year’s AOTech program wasn’t intended to have an investment component but the OEN investor community demanded otherwise. Earlier this year a group of tech investors pitched raising a fund to accompany this year’s AOTech. Thank you to Cara Turano for putting this together, Big kudos go to John Furukawa Bonnie Page and Tracy Camp for driving PNW tech entrepreneurs!

I am so glad there is a podcast that covers business from the point of view LGBTQ founders. And was very happy to be a guest on Calan Breckon's The Business Gay Podcast to talk about social media addiction and how we started dayo to help people. How do we solve a problem like social media addiction? 📱 The data is in and it's bad. Social media addiction has led to what many feel is the decline of society in certain aspects. We now live in a world of perceived extremes with Left vs Right, Good vs Bad, Young vs Old, and so on. We need to find a way back to ourselves and togetherness in the real world away from our handheld computers 🤳 , but how? #socialmedia #social #addiction #scrollresponsibly Patrick Triato
