💡SCHOLAR SPOTLIGHT | Dr. Dianne Pinderhughes was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow from 2003-04 and has a longstanding career focusing on the Civil Rights movement- past, present, and future. While at the Wilson Center, Dr. Pinderhughes dedicated time to her ongoing book project, "The Evolution of Civil Rights Organizations in the Twentieth Century: African American Politics and the Voting Rights Act." A big congratulations to our Serious Games Initiative and China Environment Forum teams on this incredible accomplishment — TWO awards for the Plastic Pipeline game! 🎉
Program Coordinator with the Wilson Center's Serious Games Initiative | Science and Technology Innovation Program
This past week I had the honor of representing the Wilson Center | Serious Games Initiative at the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C) as part of Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference, where The Plastic Pipeline won, not one but two awards! 🥳 🎮 Best Government Audience Serious Game & 🎮 Student's Choice Award Let's just say the competition was fierce. Games spanned important topics from reimagining the typical war game and instead, having "The PEACEGAME" (CRISP) to a game called "Deepfake Elicitation" by BridgeFour. Thank you Jenn McNamara, Matthew Becchio, Adelle Adams, and Seth Crofton, for putting together an incredible showcase and creating such a dynamic community! 🎮 The Plastic Pipeline: https://bit.ly/4dLMmtL Wilson Center | China Environment Forum, FableVision
