Healthtech Founders and Operators! One of the most costly mistakes (in both time and money) I've seen founders make is choosing what aspects of their tech stack to build vs. buy vs. outsource. Sign up for my monthly NYC Healthtech Events Mailer https://lnkd.in/eKtPVjr9 Sign up for the Tech Stacks in Healthtech Event https://lu.ma/ujv9pcrp Thrilled to publicly share my new workshops organization, MarkOne Health and its first Q1 workshop on Building Tech Stacks in Healthtech. This will be an expanded version of the workshop that I ran last year on the same topic with Pepper. Cohosted with Rohan Siddhanti, Alex Aksanov, and Jamie Port, MHA of Pepper NYC and Kevin Wang, MHA at Sword Health's new NYC office. Generously sponsored by John Bryson of Banc of California and Alan Brande of Light-it. The workshop will have two portions. 1. A 45 minute workshop by the Light-It team on both (a) what elements and building blocks are needed to build an effective tech stack for different types of healthtech startups and (b) how to choose which of those functionalities to build vs. buy vs. outsource. (Break for some of that sweet-sweet NYC startup event free hummus and la croix.) 2. A 45 minute fireside chat and open Q&A with Bruno Ferrari and two of NYC's hometown healthtech IT infra heroes: Cavan Klinsky, CTO of Healthie Ryan Casupanan, Head of IT at Cadence The lecture portion will be recorded and shared two weeks afterward, but in the interest of keeping with my and Pepper NYC's preference for hot takes and open discussion, the panel will not. We had our first Evvy billboard go up in Times Square this week — and seeing vaginal health spotlighted on a 40-foot screen in the heart of NYC is surreal. It’s loud, bold, and impossible to miss — and reflects the scale of what we’ve set out to do: destigmatize and demystify vaginal health on the world stage. But while we tackle the big stuff, we also know that change happens in the smallest, quietest moments — in the careful wording of a blog post that makes someone feel seen, or the one-on-one coaching call that helps a person advocate for themselves at the doctor for the very first time. From giant billboards and viral TikToks about yeast infections with millions of views, to hyper-personalized care for each person that goes through the Evvy experience, we’re changing the narrative about vaginal health on the biggest and smallest scales. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. So here’s to our amazing team, who deserve the biggest billboard NYC has to offer (and more!) — and who show up for our patients just as powerfully in the small moments that truly change lives.
