The largest data center in Massachusetts—estimated at $3B—is coming to Westfield! This game-changing project is a huge step for the region’s tech economy, creating jobs and driving innovation.   Westmass is proud to have supported Servistar Realties in securing approvals and agreements to make this vision a reality. WinnCompanies today celebrated the ribbon cutting of The Residences at Mill 8 in Ludlow, MA, joined by State Housing Secretary Ed Augustus, Ludlow Town Administrator Marc Strange, State Sen. Jake Oliveira, State Rep. Aaron Saunders, and other public and private sector officials. The $43.2 million adaptive reuse project transformed a portion of the historic 123-year-old mill complex into 75 units of mixed-income housing for adults 55 and older at low-income, affordable and market rate rents. The project also restored the iconic, three-story clock tower and reactivated the four clocks featured on the Town seal since 1919. Westmass is excited to announce that we have been selected by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a $1 million 2024 Brownfields Cleanup Grant! Grant funding will be used to clean and prepare Mills 9 & 11 for future redevelopment. https://lnkd.in/exHZ4e9c

Following Westmass' annual board meeting this morning, we were thrilled to join the team at WinnCompanies for a tour of the ongoing transformation at Mill 8 in the Ludlow Mills. This project, a collaboration between Westmass and WinnDevelopment, is setting a new standard for community revitalization in Ludlow and the surrounding areas. Stay tuned for more updates!
