  • Think cross-promotion is just a buzzword? Think again. When done right, it’s your golden ticket to growth without blowing your marketing budget. - In episode 55 of enVisioning Success, Laura DiBenedetto and Julia Becker Collins break down how cross-promotion can supercharge your post-acquisition strategy. Here's how: → Know your audience. Who are they? What do they trust you for? Use that trust to your advantage. → Cross-sell & upsell. Skip the gimmicks—this is the easiest way to drive revenue without reinventing the wheel. → Maximize your reach. Cross-promoting helps you tap into existing relationships and build on customer trust to penetrate your market even deeper. The result? New audiences, more engagement, and better results—all without doubling your spend. Tune in to this episode to learn how to leverage cross-promotion like a pro. https://lnkd.in/gQGR6Hm2 What’s your go-to strategy for cross-promoting? Let us know below.

  • The holidays are the best time of the year? Sure, if your idea of fun is competing with 10,000 other businesses shouting “Buy now!” into the void. - Let’s make your holiday marketing less ‘copy-paste cheer’ and more ‘scroll-stopping results. Here’s how: → Promote gift cards: The ultimate cop-out? Not really. They’re the unsung hero of last-minute shoppers and indecisive relatives everywhere. Market them as thoughtful flexibility (because “I had no clue what you wanted” doesn’t sound as nice). Bonus: They boost cash flow and guarantee a future customer visit. → Year-end planning: Goals don’t set themselves. Instead of endless holiday deals, try helping your audience get their life together before January hits. Share resources like goal-setting guides or even a “how to survive your in-laws” checklist. It’s memorable, and guess what? It positions your brand as the one that gets it. → Seasonal sales that don’t scream ‘SALE’: If your promotions look like every other 50% off sign, you’re already lost. Add an edge: create exclusivity or just tell a great story about why your product/service belongs in their life right now. Forget the cookie-cutter approach. Your audience doesn’t need another reminder that the holidays are here—they’re living it. What they need is something that makes them stop scrolling, laugh a little, and actually care. What’s your move? Tell us below.

  • So….you bought a company. Now what? - In episode 55 of enVisioning Success, Laura DiBenedetto and Julia Becker Collins dish out the real talk on scaling and integrating post-acquisition without turning it into a dumpster fire. Buying the business was the easy part, and now you have to figure out how to make it actually work. Here’s the game plan: → Stop. Observe. Optimize. Don't rush in like a toddler on a sugar high at a candy store. Spend 90 days figuring out what works and what needs to hit the trash. → Milk customer insights. You’ve got fresh data—use it to level up your marketing and stop shooting in the dark. → Unify. If brand consolidation makes sense, make it happen with a message that actually connects. (Because confusion is the enemy of success.) Buying a company is easy; making it thrive? That’s the challenge. Want to nail it? Tune in to the episode: https://lnkd.in/gQGR6Hm2 What’s your post-acquisition marketing move? Let’s hear it.

  • Work-life integration: Stop choosing between crushing it at work or at home. Bringing your best self everywhere? It’s not about balance—it’s about blending. The key is integration, not perfection. Read below for tips that actually work. No fluff, just results.

COO at Vision Advertising | Driving Business Growth with Marketing

Let’s be clear: “work-life balance” is a myth. The idea that you can perfectly divide work from life sounds nice, but it’s unrealistic—and honestly, a bit outdated. For leaders, especially those running a business, the lines are often blurred. And that's okay. I believe in work-life integration, where both parts coexist without strict boundaries. Integration is about bringing work and life together in a way that makes sense for you. There’s no clocking out when you’re the one driving the company vision, but that doesn’t mean you let work consume you. Here’s how to create that healthy blend: 1) Define Non-Negotiables: Set clear priorities in both your work and personal life. For me, it’s family time and exercise. Those commitments get scheduled like any business meeting because they’re just as important. 2) Delegate with Trust: Don’t try to do everything. Hiring the right people and trusting them to execute is essential to free yourself from being involved in every detail. Empower your team to take ownership. 3) Learn to Say “No”: Not every opportunity or meeting deserves your time. Leaders need to be selective, choosing what aligns with their goals and values. Saying no to unnecessary distractions is saying yes to meaningful work. 4) Set Boundaries Around Availability: If you're constantly reachable, you’re setting yourself up for burnout. Block off time in your calendar for focus, family, or rest, and communicate this availability to your team. Work-life integration allows me to bring my best self to both Vision Advertising and my personal life without feeling stretched thin or guilty. The key takeaway: create a structure that respects both parts of your life without forcing them into separate boxes. What are your non-negotiables? How do you keep work and life aligned?

  • How can you tell if paid advertising is actually working? - Spoiler: it's not a guessing game. It's data. Tools like Google Analytics (easy and free) show you if your campaign is killing it—or just burning your budget. Earlier this month, our COO, Julia Becker Collins, took her expertise to Bentley University speaking to a marketing management class about exactly this. The presentation was jam-packed with actionable insights, and let’s just say the students got a masterclass in making ads work smarter, not harder. Want to get better at measuring your marketing? Start with data—or don’t, and keep wondering why your ROI looks like a ghost town.

  • Think customer loyalty doesn’t matter during an acquisition? Think again. - In episode 54 of enVisioning Success, Laura DiBenedetto and Julia Becker Collins pull no punches on why customer loyalty and diversity make or break an acquisition. If you’re not digging deep into a company’s customer base, you’re setting yourself up for a disaster. Here’s what you need to know: → Don’t put all your eggs in one client. Over-reliance on a single big spender is a fast track to regret. → Retention beats acquisition every time. Keeping clients happy costs less and delivers way more—stop overthinking it. → Cross-market like you mean it. Leverage the trust you’ve already built and get more out of your existing relationships. The bottom line? A solid, loyal customer base isn’t optional—it’s what separates a smart investment from a liability. Catch this episode and find out how to evaluate customer strength the right way: https://lnkd.in/e7Wmfkbd Think you’ve got customer loyalty figured out? Prove it.

  • Trying to be everywhere at once? Stop. It's not working. - Here’s the truth: you don’t need to dominate every social platform to make an impact. Spreading yourself too thin isn’t a strategy—it’s a fast track to burnout. The key? Show up where it actually matters. Focus on the platforms your audience cares about and nail it every time. Here’s why it works: → Quality > quantity. Crushing it on one platform beats half-hearted posts on five. → Consistency = trust. Regular, relevant content keeps you top-of-mind where it counts. → Burnout is real. Focused effort means more energy, better results, and less stress. It’s time to cut the sh*t and work smarter, not harder. Pick your platforms, commit to consistency, and watch your results speak for themselves. Don't hold back, drop your thoughts below.

  • Let's be real: when you're eyeing an acquisition, are you chasing a dream or investing in growth that’s worth your time (and money)? - In episode 54 of “enVisioning Success,” Laura DiBenedetto and Julia Becker Collins cut through the noise and share exactly what to look for in a target acquisition. Forget just crunching numbers—this is about uncovering potential. Here’s where to start: → Brand power. Is the brand a powerhouse, or another name in the crowd? → Scalability. Can it grow without crumbling under pressure? → Real growth potential. Are the goals realistic, or just a wish list in disguise? Acquiring a business isn’t just a transaction—it’s a strategy. Want to play it smart? Tune in to the episode for the insights that could make or break your next big move. https://lnkd.in/e7Wmfkbd What's the boldest move you've made in acquisitions—total win or epic facepalm?
