Growth @ Vieu | Helping Sales Leaders with EB Access & Agentic Account Planning.

Depending on your stage (seed/series A/B/C), your investors should give you $1-$20M of qualified PIPELINE. Easily.   (We’re seed funded and have got over $2M pipeline just from angel & VC introductions in a few quarters).   But most startups get investor introductions wrong.   - By overwhelming investors with vague and broad requests - Making THEM do the heavy lifting - Asking them sporadically and not creating a repeatable process   Here’s a better way:   1. List out your investors’ connections to your target companies – can be through their portfolio companies, ex-colleagues, or ex-college batchmates.   (You’ll have to manually do this by going through their LinkedIn network, checking their portfolio companies, etc.)   2. Rank these connections by relationship strength if possible.   3. In your monthly/quarterly investor meeting, add time and agenda specifically for this process.   4. During the meeting, set context and get their buy-in. Walk them through the list you created and narrow down all relationships that can be leveraged.   5. Create blurbs that your investors can instantly forward. (Take most work off their hands.)   6. Track these in the same spreadsheet.   7. Watch the warm intros and pipeline flow in. Thank them for every introduction.   8. Repeat the process for all your investors. You can also scale this for your advisors, partners, board members, champion customers, and some well-connected friends.   (PS: This takes a lot of manual effort and a dedicated person. With Vieu, you can automate it all and uncover deeper connections than LinkedIn. Let me know if you’d like a demo!)   9. Generate millions of dollars of pipeline from your “network-led outbound” approach.   Here’s hoping you get tons of warm intros to your economic buyers in 2025. 🥂

The average tenure of a VP Sales is down from 26 to 19 months. With median growth rates slowing by 50%, it’s a tough time to be a sales leader in SaaS. At Vieu, we’ve recognized this challenge, and we’re stepping up to help. That’s why we’ve launched a dedicated Job Board for VP Sales roles in the USA — a platform designed to connect elite sales leaders with organizations that value your expertise and are committed to your success. New jobs will be added every week. Filter based on your location, industry, hybrid/remote etc. Link to the job board in the comments below. Share it with someone who you think will benefit (or save it in your notes app for the future). Happy hunting. PS - Feel free to ask our co-founders (Samir and Simon) for warm introductions if we’re connected to your hiring manager!

Courtney Thornton hits the nail on this one 🎯 Your sales team might own the quota, but growth happens faster when the entire company is invested in creating pipeline. How do you create a pipeline culture? - Encourage every employee to leverage their networks for opportunities. - Share stories publicly to inspire others to get involved. - Foster collaboration between teams so sales gets the support it needs. It's a team sport - when everyone plays, everyone wins.

Great businesses aren't just built on big ideas - they thrive on the small details that show customers you truly care.   Think of the red lines on Canva when you’re centering an image. The pageless option in Google Docs. Rain sounds on the flown app and more.   Little things that make the experience 10X more delightful.    Empathise with your users and do the basics right. You'll win. Great insights from Nikita Zhitkevich in this episode. Watch the full episode via the link in the comments. #B2BSales

The biggest problem with cold outbound? You don’t get 1:1s with the decision-makers early. Spend weeks chasing gatekeepers — only to get shot down later in the deal. That’s where warm intros are a game changer. They get you face-to-face with the right person so you can qualify (or disqualify) the deal quicker. Now, with tools like Vieu, finding + executing warm intros at scale has never been easier. Take a demo, and we’ll show warm opportunities hidden in your leadership, investor, customer, and employee network. Trust us, we’ll blow your mind. #B2BSales #WarmIntros

There’s nothing a sales rep loves more than a warm intro from a happy client. However, when they ask for referrals, they get the classic: “I can’t think of anyone right now, but if someone should ask, I’d be happy to refer you”! Want to get out of this loop? Make your referral asks specific. Instead of asking your clients to think, create a list of people who fit your ICP and you know they have a relationship with. Then hit em’ with a line like this, “Hey [Client’s Name], Vieu helped me identify these 12 people in your network who could benefit from our solution. Could I run these names by you and get your insights before I reach out? Or best, would it be possible for you to give me a warm introduction?” Hop on a quick call, review the list together, and watch the referrals flow in. This small tweak makes a BIG difference! 🎯 Go get those warm intros! PS - For more tactical tips like these, check out the blog below! #B2BSales #WarmIntros

Losing deals to competitors? You're not alone. But there are ways to reduce the chances of this happening. Here are a few tips from the experts: * Know your competition. What are their strengths and weaknesses? What traps do they set in the sales cycle? * Ask your buyers if they are evaluating other vendors. This will help you understand the competitive landscape and your chances of winning the deal. * Perform a loss analysis to understand why you are losing deals. If you are losing for the same reasons consistently, you need to make some changes. * Make sure you are qualifying your prospects properly. Don't waste time on deals that you are unlikely to win. Tune in to this episode of “Point of Vieu” Podcast where we talk to sales experts who share actionable advice on how to avoid losing to competitors. #B2BSales #PointOfVieu
