I was very honored to host my friends at BBBS today in the Venture Guides office. I believe it is imperative for young professionals to get involved in their community. As an active volunteer & board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts I strongly recommend this organization to those looking to give back.
Thank you to ElastiFlow for hosting us today and listening to our information session with our recruitment team. Special shoutout to Ryan Layman for organizing this event!

Boston Sales Leaders – Let’s Talk About What’s Next. The past four years in tech sales have been anything but easy. Like many of you, I’ve felt the challenges of navigating constant change, layoffs, hitting ambitious targets, and leading through uncertainty. It’s tested us and ultimately shaped us into stronger leaders. About six months ago, an unexpected opportunity came my way: the chance to join Venture Guides as their VP of Sales (Ethan Schechter thank you for the referral!). I had multiple offers on the table, but after speaking with Benjamin Nye, Jenny Pyle (She/her), Steve Corndell, Gerry Sengendo, and Tessa (Husain) Doman, I knew in my gut this was the right move. Looking back, it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. With the holidays around the corner, many of us are pausing to reflect—on our lives, our careers, and what really drives us. For some, this time brings clarity that we’re exactly where we want to be. For others, it raises that familiar question: Is this really where I want to be? If you’re a sales leader in the Boston area and you’re starting to think about what’s next, let’s talk. · If you’re looking for an opportunity to truly bet on yourself, let’s talk. · If you’re considering a change in the next 12 months, let’s talk. · If you’re not planning a change but are curious about what’s out there, let’s talk. · If you’re a sales leader in Boston, stop by our office and check it out. At Venture Guides, we’re building something truly special: a team of high-performing professionals passionate about leading and scaling businesses while shaping the future of sales leadership. With new portfolio companies joining us every month, we’re actively recruiting sales leaders to guide some of the fastest-growing startups in Boston. P.S. We’re also recruiting for AE’s, SDRs, CS, marketing, and finance roles. Please connect and reach out to me if you’d like to learn more!

It’s International Fraud Awareness Week, and the numbers don’t lie: fraud is everywhere. Last month, Memcyco stopped 1.4 million customers from being lured into fake site scams. Imagine what’s happening to those without real-time protection. #FraudAwarenessWeek #PhishingProtection #Memcyco

Startup CEO-Tipp: 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐠! 😊
A big thank you to Loris Degioanni, Ohad Maislish, and Jim Bugwadia for joining the Venture Guides team last night at KubeCon for a Tech Founders panel on early-stage growth and go-to-market success! We loved hearing your advice for early hiring priorities, how to approach commercializing open source, and the right time to think about VC funding.

One of the things that makes the US truly unique: the vibrant energy of side events like this one at Squatters Pub Brewery Incredible to share the evening with world-class founders and investors like Benjamin Nye Loris Degioanni, and Ohad Maislish, discussing the learnings of early GTM strategies. 🚀 These informal settings spark some of the best conversations and insights—grateful for the chance to connect and learn from such brilliant minds!
