During the 2024 United for Service Week (Nov. 18–22), US Aggregates teamed up with The Heritage Group family to tackle food insecurity in our communities. We're proud to have partnered with Pack Away Hunger to pack over 20,000 nutritious meals for those in need across Indiana. Our Francesville team made a special impact by collaborating with West Central High School to support their Weekend Meal and Comfort Closet programs, ensuring students in grades 7-12 can access meals and personal care items. Thanks to the generous donations from our staff and haulers, we were able to provide numerous boxes of food, personal care items and gift cards. A huge thank you to all our US Aggregates team members for your dedication to making a difference!

Precision in blasting is crucial for safety and efficiency. When detonated, a portion of the energy is released as air pressure, or airblast, which must be monitored with a seismograph to ensure it remains within the regulated limits set by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). All blasts at US Aggregates’ sites are conducted by licensed professionals certified by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
