As the new semester begins, I have been able to reflect on positive experiences this summer and I am excited to share some of the roles and responsibilities I've taken on here at Purdue University. This past summer, I worked as a summer Sales Associate with UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Indianapolis, where I had the opportunity to enhance my customer service skills and gain proficiency in various systems, including reservations, payments, and distribution platforms. Additionally, I managed social media content creation and postings, which allowed me to develop my marketing and graphic design skills. I even contributed to hands-on projects, such as assisting in the assembly of UNITS. I’m grateful for this experience and for the opportunity to strengthen a variety of skill sets. This semester, I’m honored to join the executive team of Purdue's DECA Inc. chapter as Vice President of Fundraising. DECA had a significant impact on me during high school, so I’m thrilled to help reestablish the organization on campus and to work alongside a talented group of individuals. I look forward to contributing to DECA's mission of helping students develop their professional, presentation, and critical thinking skills, while reconnecting with former teammates from Indiana DECA and collaborating with new peers at Purdue. In addition to DECA, I have also joined the Purdue Women in Law. In this organization, we gather to learn more about the law school application process, the LSAT, various law related career paths, and we hear from guest speakers with diverse experiences. I am excited to network with other driven women who share an interest in pursuing a career in law. Ever grateful, ever true. Looking forward to a great year here at Purdue!

UNITS of Indy had the privilege of participating in Ausome Indy Touch-A-Truck event this weekend, alongside other small businesses and local municipalities. It was a joy to spend time with the kids and their families, sharing fun moments and building connections with our fellow local businesses and new friends at Estes Express Lines, & Laura Kopetsky Tri-Ax Inc. What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Saturday morning while supporting a great cause!
