We’re pleased to announce that Richard Merriam, previously the inbound supervisor at our Rochester, NY, terminal, has been promoted to terminal manager. District Operations Manager Jim Doyle shared this about Richard: “Richard’s resume reflects nearly 25 years in the transportation industry. In 2000, Richard joined Central Transport as a P&D driver and outbound supervisor at their Rochester terminal. He then moved to New England Motor Freight in 2006, where he honed his P&D and line-haul skills while domiciled in Rochester. Four years later, Richard joined Team Estes and excelled for the next decade as a Rochester P&D driver. He was promoted to inbound supervisor in 2020.” Outside of work, Richard is a father of three, a dedicated football coach, and a runner. His promotion testifies to the career opportunities at Estes and the dedication of our team members. Please join us in congratulating Richard on his well-deserved promotion. We’re confident that under his leadership, our Rochester terminal will achieve even greater successes in 2025 and beyond.
