United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) reposted this
I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to speak at the 2024 #GEOGala as a USGIF scholarship recipient. It was truly an unforgettable experience to share my story with an incredible audience and highlight the vital role funding scholarships play in nurturing the next generation of GEOINT talent. It was an honor to speak alongside such inspiring individuals, including USGIF CEO Ronda Schrenk, Steven Omick, and USGIF Chairman Robert Cardillo. I’m still in awe of Kevin O'Connell, who received the prestigious Lundahl-Finnie Lifetime Achievement Award, a well-deserved recognition for his incredible contributions to GEOINT. The support and encouragement I received from the GEOINT community were overwhelming and deeply appreciated. A special thank you to the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) team, including Christine Devine (MacKrell), Mackenzie Murray, and Molly Brady for making my trip to McLean, VA, such a smooth and enjoyable experience. One of my favorite moments of the night was the silent auction, which raised over $40,000 to support the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF)’s scholarships and education programs. It was a powerful display of the community’s generosity. Looking forward to the future of GEOINT and can’t wait to see what #GEOGala2025 has in store. #GEOINT #USGIF #Scholarship #GEOGala2024

Last night, we had an incredible time at the 2024 #GEOGala, where we had the privilege of honoring Kevin O'Connell with the prestigious Lundahl-Finnie Lifetime Achievement Award. We extend our thanks to everyone who joined us! The evening was expertly hosted by our very own CEO, Ronda Schrenk. We featured notable speakers such as Esther Oyedele, the recipient of the 2024 Leidos Scholarship for AI/ML Advancement, along with Steven Omick and USGIF Chairman, Robert Cardillo A highlight of the event was the return of our silent auction, which successfully raised over $40,000 to support USGIF scholarships and educational initiatives! It truly was an unforgettable night. Again, thank you to all the attendees, participants, auction winners, and our sponsors for their contributions in making the GEOGala a success. If you were unable to attend this year, don't worry! You can explore the 2024 GEOGala Photo Gallery at https://hubs.li/Q02-Krr_0. We hope to see you all for GeoGala 2025, next year!
